Great club, great fans, unlike Wigan they are a proper football club with great tradition - really hope they can make a good go of it.
As for Stoke:
Not sure what everybody was on about re their first goal, bego could have done better, but just one of those things.
Their 2nd goal - woeful defending(not sure woeful really does it justice)
Moses dive - made in Chelsea and hopefully that is where he f^cks off soon - an embarrassment to the colours of Stoke

No, they were a disgrace.
I can cope with getting stuck in, time wasting here and there but they were feigning injuries every 5 minutes to stop play.
It was pathetic.
Doesn't excuse our performance though

Burnley are owrate despite today.

As I said elsewhere, they reminded me of us in 08/09, if we were a team of diving, cheating pansies. Looking at their supporters reminded me of Villa away and it's hard to begrudge them a big moment like that as they scrap for every single point*.
*Obviously I do begrudge it a bit because we lost.

There are folk on here slating Moses, but Burnley's antics took cheating to another level. I would be embarrassed if our club ever took three points like that.

They got the result but their tactics today were appalling. What exactly are we congratulating. Exactly. Some on here are just trying to come across all nicey. Doesn't wash with me. When they were holding their heads and rolling around for most the game do you think the players just decided to do it? Did they buggery. This would come pre planned from their manager. Something they would talk about during the week. See if they do it again if they take the lead. Disgusting. As bad if not worse than diving.

There is no nice nice at all they evened up the advantage we has In resources wages experience efc and exposed out fundamental weaknesses of which there see too many to mention .
If we had a plan from a set piece other than Ryan taking it if we indicate we had a plan too be we don't
We ewe outfought . Out thought ,out scored and espoused by a manager and a team with half out resource and not for the first time and we need to quickly realise we are in a dog fight become yesterday showed we are very poorly equipped to deal with it our bargain basement investment strategy put to the sword yet again .

Fair play to Burnley, they got the two goals early in the game, protected their lead and walked away with the 3 points. I don't mind Burnley as a club or its supporters, salt of the earth. As for us I think arnie is a waste of space and couldn't care less if he went, should have bought assaidi on instead. Was impressed with Sidwell and thought he had a good game and Bojan played well. All in all 3 points dropped at home again to a promoted team with no disrespect to burnley but which I thought we were going to win.

It's all down to having to stop play for head injuries. It's fair enough having to be more cautious with head injuries but it's giving teams a chance to stop play by lying down and holding their heads. It's a disgrace really but, at the same time, we time wasted all of the time with goal kicks, free kicks and throw ins so I find it hard to justify us moaning about other teams doing it.

They were a championship side at best but instead of getting stuck in like you'd expect and I would of appreciated they play "farking arse n ewl" , didn't cost us the game but fuck me it's annoying

Cobham
Just join the que of those gaining embarrassment. With each home defeat that the king had no clothes as early as September and some saw it before others .
Its gives me no pleasure to travel a lot further than Cobham week after week but its been obvious since the first few games this team has fundamental fault lines that will increasingly become exposed at this level . Its all well and good chucking sarcasm and insults but since sept I've said 20 points would be a struggle by new year and no one yet has come up with a firm contra forecast so the challenge is there should be easy with 6 games to go not 17 when I did it so have a go all those Happy clappers and let's look again at 3.00 on me years day.. The significance being if we don't have 20 or more the window becomes harder our noon and bust investment strategy even more exposed ., And as I also said more likely to sell to fund a move not invest .Hughes has been given a thankless task before you brand me a wankstain too .

Fucking doom and gloom merchant. The season doesn't end at 15:00 on New Years Day so not quite sure what you're waffling on about. We'll win some, we'll lose some like most mid-table team, your reaction to each defeat is an embarrassment. You're a grown man for fucks sake get a grip....

All the time-wasting apart you have to admire the last ditch defending. They really wanted it. Their defending was superb, they put their bodies on the line. They're a limited team but it's clear they're working their arses of for one another and come May that might just be enough for them you never know? With lot of average teams in the league this season stranger things have happened...

It's not Burnleys job to referee the game. They were time wasting yes but it's Martin Atkinson who has to take control of that.
Live and let live. They did alright and I didn't feel their fans were particularly smug at the end, unlike Leicester.
I know which one I'd rather see relegated (despite desperately wanting to see them promoted)

Wouldn't be surprised to see Burnley finish above them to be fair...

It was all "we need to be beating these cannon fodder if we're going to beat top ten". No boys, you need three points as often as possible to stay up. I won't lose an ounce of sleep if they go down

Prestwich
Grow up and accept some of us see real reasons for concern and have expressed that view for a while that these games will catch up with us over the next 6 weeks .
Its a perfectly reasonable view to hold and articulate if its right we will simply point that out with no joy or resort to insult and hyperbole .

They think they are massive, should be top half prem as a God given right and shouldn't have to share the same pitch as the likes of us. Burnley fans are similar to us and are ecstatic to be in the top flight but take nothing for granted. Anyway all this criticism of Burnley. A lot of you are sounding like Arsenal fans after we had the audacity to beat them in our first season up. BM

Whatever rights and wrongs they did, their defending with two banks of four was brilliant. I thought they deserved their win purely on their defensive performance.
