Czech league apparentlyIf someone had scored a couple of goals at the World Cup like this, half the Premier League would be doing it now.

The ring o ring o roses appears to be a good method of avoiding any grappling in the area prior to corner kicks. Perhaps it should be made compulsory.

Love that goal Walters scored at west ham with that corner set up straight from the training ground. Remember Neville was jizzing over it when he analysed it.

There's no denying footy's gone very soft over the last ten years or so but that's probably the gayest thing I've ever seen

If we tried we still would not beat the first defender at the front post.

It didn't work because of poor delivery. The idea though - making it difficult for the markers is sound.
Always thought that teams need to be more inventive at corners, for example: - only the striker stays in the penalty area - and then the rest of the team arrive at the last second - the attackers huddle together and then break as the ball is crossed.
Anything that disrupts the marking for defence can only help.

They could do this without dancing around though

Arsenal many years ago did the same from free kicks.
They stood in front of the wall-then just before the ball was played-ran off in different directions.

QPR in the 82 cup finAL did a big mass run into the box. It was good. They still got beaten though.

What an anti-climax that corner was..... I was expecting a bullet header off the underside of the bar and bounce down once or twice.

They could do this without dancing around though I've often said why don't all the attacking players stay together on the edge of the box and then make their runs when the corner comes in.That way they can't be marked

What about the Swedish defender in the European Championships 1992, sprinted from the halfway line and did a bullet header.

Zonal marking destroys that idea straight away Not if they all attack the same zone. They'd be in each other's way then and it would be and look calamitous I'd imagine.

If they did that against Stoke, and then all fell over at the same time I'm pretty sure one of them would get a penalty for it.
