Bego Cameron Shawcross Muniesa Pieters Sidwell Nzonzi Walters bojan Moses Diouf Prediction: 2-0 Stoke I also predict that Merson will include "I don't like going against Stoke" in his prediction This unless Bardsley is fit, although he could probably do with a bit extra time to sort himself out.

However the results from other teams effect our position, if we can win by two clear goals we will have a positive goal difference. A clear indication of progress.

Unsoiled sheet (sorry Joe) Predict a 2-0 Stoke win (Diouf and Sidwell) As routine as it gets in the Premiership, just because we've learnt from the Villa and Leicester games, and we've got Premiership class over Burnley

Burnley will be on a high after there 1st prem win so a early goal for us will soon put them on a downer. I'm just glad they beat hull as I was convinced we would be there 1st win. As it is I'm sticking my neck on the line and going 4-0 stoke!

Eric Pieters flying header and a Ireland cheeky cheeky chip. Which cancels out Ings early goal. Followed by a Bojan quick fire double. Stoke City 4-1 Burnley.

They're shit and we know they are.
We're a confusing mix of styles, players, formations, tempo and level of performance in general and we know we are.
Stoke 3 Burnley 1

Don't think this will be a walk over however if we play well (as we have been) then we should win. Anything below par and it will be real slog.

I'll confidently predict 3-0 Stoke.
My confidence then gets dented by the fact that we rarely keep clean sheets anymore.
So 3-1

I'm quite concerned about this game. We're predicting 3 and 4 nil wins, but they are going to sit deep and it could be a very frustrating match. I don't think Burnley will win at all, but I think it will all go down the the first goal. If we score first, that will hopefully draw Burnley out a bit for us to get more goals for a comfortable win. If it's still scoreless by 60 minutes the crowd will start to get restless and you never know what will happen.
I'm also worried about the effect Atkinson will have on the game. Has ha just been sent as normal, regardless of any previous situation? To test the water after the display at Newcastle? I don't know, but he's the kind of arse who will try and show he's the big man by no giving us anything the crowd asks for. Hopefully we can influence him enough for him to crumble but I can see it going against us.
I'm going to say 2-0. It'll be tight for the first half. First goal late on as they start to tire, maybe 80 minutes and then another on 85-90. Although I hope (not expect mind) for a big score.

Not looking forward to Atkinson coming, amazed he dares to come to the Brit to be honest. I can see the atmosphere getting nasty very quickly...which on a positive always helps us and not the opposition. Took Arsenal 70+ minutes to break them down at the Emirates, hope we can get a couple of early goals! UTP

I am rarely optimistic as a rule.
I have us winning this comfortably, probably 3-0.
I am rarely wrong.

Spot on preview, TD - no way will this be the 4-0 drubbing some seem to think. 3 points, however they come, will do me. GO ON STOKE...
