I know bojan and moses will get all the praise but I was quite impressed with diouf as well. He got himself in decent positions and kept up the pressure on their defence when it was needed. Wait, was that walters? They look too similar! This. Diouf's season has been stop start but I honestly think he's going to be a revelation for us as the season goes on, his workrate is superb.... He just needs to sort his first touch out now, if he does he should score decent numbers.

How about we focus on the fine save he forced from Lloris? Seems churlish to make such a point against a player who was on for 7 minutes in a game where the bulk of our players, all of them in fact, were quite superb. Absolutely dave but you have to be fair on both sides. We have players who would be slated for less than that. It was so obvious I can't even recall the incident to which you are referring. I guess if people were expecting Ireland to be a tough tackling midfielder then they were always going to be disappointed.

Dont want to get in argument on a great day,but Ireland was shocking, thank god it was only 7 minutes then, He was on the pitch for 7 minutes and almost wrapped up the 3 points with a goal. We've just won away at Spurs, and deservedly as well having dominated most of the game and totally outplayed them, yet we have people commenting on one 7 minute appearance from one of our players. Forgive me for being a little perplexed.

It was deep in the second half and i think it led to the left footed shot that Lamela put over the bar. It was the right sub to make but 7 minutes or 7 seconds you still have to put it in. There would be plenty to talk about on here if it was our Austrian winger instead...

Sidwell for me impressed me the most based on my opinion of him. He was so sharp and strong and fit he took the piss out of the Spoz midfield at times. Sidwell is a very good player. I am surprised that people are surprised by this. After his shaky start, I'm surprised that you are surprised that some people are surprised. I'm not surprised though - he's solid.

Our Austrian winger is a superb player who will come good and contribute significantly to our season at some point.

I feel Adam is more up for a booking to 'take one for the team' where as Ireland wouldn't, but we won none the less. Less not be over critical.

As much as we all lived sidibe - diouf is complete upgarde. Works his nuts off and can finish, well impressed with him. Proper team player.

I'm not surprised though - he's solid. What shaky start is that? His season effectively started last week and he was excellent. Before that, he hasn't been given a chance unless of course you are referring to his brief cameo away at QPR for which he was unnecessarily slaughtered.

Sky report Stoke City outclassed a lacklustre Tottenham side to win 2-1 at White Hart Lane and increase the pressure on under-fire manager Mauricio Pochettino.

A mention in dispatches amongst all the top performers should also go to Bego if only for the save from the free kick late in the second half....SUPERB save

No complaints today I would never slate any Stoke player even if they have a bad game I don't no why but Ireland did pull out of that tackle then again he almost scored
