Still early days but Burnley look like certs for the drop. My money would be in qpr and palace for the other two places. No TP to engineer another miracle salvation this year

Agree Burnley and QPR third place is up for grabs with Palace, Sunderland and villa vying to avoid it

I think this could be the year that a "Big" club could go down. Obvious candidates are QPR & Burnley, but the likes of Villa, Newcastle & dare I say Everton will not have it all their own way...

Theres only one win between us in 13th and the drop zone. I really think we could be in a battle if we dont sort out our defence and goal scoring. We may be playing some lovely football, but its scoring more goals than the opposition that counts.

I think Burnley and QPR will go down. I hope the third spot does not go to Palace. Not because I have any love for Palace but I think it is good when at least one spot is filled by an "established" Premier League club. Villa for example have gone from regular top six when we arrived in the Prem - the sort of club (together with Everton) who we aspired to emulate - to perennial relegation contenders. It would be no bad thing for the league if they finally dropped to the Championship for a while. In the long run it might even work out as a good thing for Villa - a chance to regroup, get into the winning habit, and come back stronger.

As much as I want QPR to go down it's far from a certainty, Burnley however I reckon are goners! Shame as they were the promoted team I'd hoped would do well....

Anyone from the tenth position down could be relegated and that includes us. Obviously Burnley look in serious trouble but no one should be complacent.

It's too early to write Burnley off...Palace were in a similar position to Burnley last season. they stayed up comfortably in the end. Burnley may appoint TP around xmas

Anyone from the tenth position down could be relegated and that includes us. Obviously Burnley look in serious trouble but no one should be complacent. Totally agree. It's far to soon to start wishing on otherwise what we would dread to happen to ourselves. Who on here would have said Newcastle would now be above Stoke just a month ago? Not me for one. Last season we saw Palace and Sunderland pull off magnificent recoveries when they look dead and buried. Any club not in the "big 6" club (ManU, ManC, Ch, A, L, Sp) are NOT (ed) safe, although I'd be shocked if Everton were relegated, and Southampton are on a purple patch, but even they have yet to beat a "big 6 club" this season. Clubs sitting "safe" can suddenly lose the plot as evidenced by Newcastle's loss of form last season and West Ham being savaged by injuries to defenders and both dropping huge amounts of points. Personally I think Burnley and Leicester(bar 1 player) are not up to Premier League standard. As for the other team, Villa seem to be in "free fall" at the moment, and not scoring like Norwich last season but I suspect they will turn it around. CP, QPR, and Sunderland are letting in too many goals and will have the chance to buy in January. It could be decided by a management change or conversely the owners fully supporting the existing manager. A lot depends on whether the home crowd get behind their team or get on the backs of their team. Personally I'd favour a London team dropping out and it's not good for the game to have all 3 promoted teams returning back down, so I'd prefer CP, but as I wrote above we shouldn't wish on others what we would hate to happen to us.

Burnley is the only one I'd say is a cert but it could be anyone up to about 10th at the minute. Much as I'd like to see QPR go there are showing a bit of fight plus Harry will get another window to bring more in. On current form Leicester and Villa look to be in the frame but anyone seems capable of beating anyone as it stands.

Everton please, don't mind the club, but can't be doing with Martinez, can't see it though, they'll get rid before they get relegated.

As it is. Leicester, QPR, Burnley. I think Burnley are already gone. I like Dyche but ultimately, he's proved that old chestnut that hard work and self-belief really aren't enough to keep you up. You do need some quality players, and while we can attribute a lot of our early Premiership success to hard work, on comparison, our squad also had better players on the whole. Fuller, Lawrence, Higginbotham, Ryan, Rory, Tommy (then, maybe not now) would all walk into Burnley's first team. Plus Pulis first season signings were pivotal to our continued success. Ethers and Beattie improved us as a team. So yeah, cannot see Burnley staying up without a signing or two and it may already be too late. I thought QPR might be able to hack it this time but they leak goals. The way they threw that Liverpool game away says to me that they just won't stay up. Leicester have the best chance of staying up. I reckon Pulis probably could. They aren't far off Palace, but really, Leicester fans think they play great beautiful football. They don't. They're not that good. They will probably go down. We will laugh about it at the end Where's those Leicester fans now eh?
