Judging by the last few performances, we'll be slow of the mark, wait for them to score and then look for a plan B - why we don't have this any way is beyond me. The one straw I'm grasping is that with the suspensions, Hughes will have to try something that might just click. But I'm fast running out of patience with his let's wait and see what will happen attitude.

You need to get that tap fixed I would but the spanner that I had, left me by mutual consent. Whenever I try my new spanner I can't help but think that the old one tightened nuts more efficiently and never did any wrong. God I miss that spanner.

Or a hammer that smashed the hell out of the nuts until they fitted, even though they where the wrong size nuts?

Very impressed with Allardyce. It shows an old dinosaur really can change his scales if he has the inclination.

Very impressed with Allardyce. It shows an old dinosaur really can change his scales if he has the inclination. He did it before at Bolton. Seems to like to establish a solid unit, then introduce flair when he's satisfied it won't jeopardise what he's built.

Any chance of getting Ed Sheeran to do a slot on the pitch pre-kick off? Owt to get the officials on side.

Lose on saturday & it will be bottom 3 for xmas unless there is a big change in tactics. We need to go for the jugular from the start & not wait for them to score first. And cut out this passing across the back four allowing the opposition to regroup. Rant over.

We will win this weekend. I'm more concerned about listening to the West Ham fans sing the "bubbles" song about 789 times in 90 minutes than I am of losing on Satdee

We'll have to change our style a bit with no crouch.

We'll have to change our style a bit with no crouch. And improve on our previous efforts when the big man hasn't started.

2 disappointing results this week, hopefully we can put it right tomorrow. I'd go with:- Bego Muniesa Shawcross Wilson Pieters Adam N'Zonzi Arnie Ireland SJW Diouf

I presume Cameron will move to right back & Sidwell will come in tbh. Personally I would leave Geoff in midfield & play Wilson at Right Back with Pieters at Centre Back with Muniesa at left back. Despite missing players we still have a number of options. I'd also be amazed (unless he is injured as well?) if Moses doesnt play.

A steadfast supporter of a bloke who knew no plan B but is knocking Hughes for playing the same way and hoping it will work out Comedy gold Admittedly Pulis had his way and stuck by it however he would always change the system and way we played depending on who we played against. Whereas Hughes appears just to rock up and expect us to be able to outplay every team in the league. Certain games that's possible but we do need to change the way we play against different opposition whether it be playing 442 or having an extra body in midfield but every week it is the same and we just hope for it to work!
