Its more or less the position those managers rate him in - its not somewhere he has just switched to....and frankly his goal scoring record is better than most in our squad.

He was certainly up there in the best of a bad bunch Diouf was my choice , one real plus point and Adam when he came on , the first half was atrocious

I'm not a massive Walters fan, tonight he was second only to Bardsley IMO

Walters was the only one putting in the effort in the first half, and he was brilliant in the second half. Bardsley deserves a mention too. Absolutely..SuperJohn had a superb second half.

Was the only one who actually looked like he gave a shit in the first half. A solid performance from him however I would not start him Saturday.

There are no good players who don't work in today's game , we have a few talented individuals who don't play to their maximum , which is why we can be embarrassed as we were first hour tonight and that is why Walters remains a valuable squad member until we can attract better players with a good attitude

MOTM for me.
Should be starting against West Ham on Saturday.
Arnie was poor again tonight so it should be Moses on the left and SJW on the right until Arnie gets his old form back.

Some Stoke fans are fucking easily pleased. Where as others are quite happy to slag off our players? Our manager plays him-but I don't see you slagging off Hughes?

Played like his bollx were on fire in the second half and was one of the few that looked arsed in the first. Gouranga. it's surprising what a bit of miss-aimed Relgex can do!!!!!

If quality wins games not effort then why do we not lose every time we play Arsenal?
I think you regular confuse effective football with needless party tricks

The fact you'd prefer Arnautovic than Walters on current form says a lot.

It's sad that some fans feel the need to abuse a player such as Walters even when he turns in a very good performance. It may be debatable as to whether he deserved MOTM but he was certainly up there with the best candidates last night.

Performance to be proud of from him. Worthy MOTM for me, along with Bardsley. We'll miss him Saturday that's for sure.

It's sad that some fans feel the need to abuse a player such as Walters even when he turns in a very good performance. It may be debatable as to whether he deserved MOTM but he was certainly up there with the best candidates last night. This. Walters at 100% condition is a decent player for Stoke. I think that Walters playing every game under Pulis no matter what his condition has skewed peoples opinions of him. We all know he is not the most technically gifted and he can't get away with being off condition or out of form at all because he isn't talented enough to pull off something without being full bore aggressive mode!! Pulis hung him out to dry by playing him all the time. He looked fatigued and his form suffered because of it. Fans came to resent his part in the team. Including me. HOWEVER when Walters isn't playing every fucking game and is sharp he does a good job for Stoke. If you can't see that then you're deluded. One thing is for a sure. 10 Walters in a team would keep Stoke in the league. 10 Arnies would take us down. Now I'm not advocating that I am Walters biggest fan but he has won me over of late and I think he deserves some slack from the doubters as he is up there with one of our better players this season.

Frightening. N'Zonzi was our motm closely followed by Bardsley. Nah, N'Zonzi was woeful first half. yes second goal N'Zonzi's fault just watched Davis play a pass overlap and cross without reacting, school boy midfield play
