Arnie had a decent game tonight. Geoff Cameron had a poor game, Bojan did some nice things but not enough for his talent. Diouf has to play on the shoulder of the last defender like he did tonight and not out wide. I would personally replace Wilson with Cameron and play Muniesa in defensive midfield. I thought Arnie was awful and has done bugger all to be anywhere near the first eleven Arnautovic's problem is he is a step ahead of everybody else in the team. His touch is bettered by nobody at the club and he does something different

His touch is bettered by nobody at the club and he does something different But does he put any effort in to compliment his talent He isn't a SJW kind of player, he will never run for 90 minutes but his tracking back is getting a lot better, he is a creator not a tracker backer. His body language may show no effort I agree but just cast your mind back to the Arnie from the second half of last season, you don't just lose that!

Fair point BUT so far this season he has shown nothing to warrant a starting place. You cant pick a player of last years end of season form. I have been so disappointed by him so far. He di get a lot of the ball tonight but he created nothing and some of his passing was just awful.

Just to top this lot off. I do not take any defeat lightly. If we lose on Saturday, I for one will be a very unhappy hombre! To come back from two down, and then to blow it, is extremely frustrating. Typical bloody Stoke! The most frustrating team to follow in the frigging world!!!!!!!! Wifey! Get me a beer this minute! What do you mean, no? I'll give you a Maradonna!

Just watched the highlights on tv. The first yellow for Crouchy was a complete and utter joke. Yet another so called pro gets a player sent off. The referee should be able to spot these cheating bas----s! If that so and so had not made a meal of it, Crouchy would not have been sent off for the second offence. When are these muppets going to wake up? Come on tv pundits. Make a meal of that one. Probably never get mentioned again. But then again, we are talking Stoke City!

In the first challenge he doesn't look at the ball, goes straight into the player elbow first, clear yellow.

Interesting to see you switch your venom away from your usual diatribe against Stoke fans. You are obviously a closet Saint. Good game second half, I really like the look of Diouf, Bojan was clicking, and I think if Hughesy hadn't fucked up our momentum with the double switch it was ours. What d'yer reckon?

Never a yellow. If he catches him in the face, yes, but where he actually caught him, no. I could have withstood that challenge, and I'm getting on a bit I'll tell you. Some , if not all of these pansies want to man up. F'ing Jessie's! If that was a booking, there would be twenty odd in every game. Common sense should prevail.

I was disappointed that Bojan was taken off as I thought he was starting to look a threat. But I don't think the substitutions did us any harm as far as our momentum was concerned. If anything, I thought we looked even more dangerous until Crouch gave away the free kick.

Opinions etc. I would never have predicted that the consumate professional Peter Crouch would have entered the fray for a scrap. I would have expected it from Charlie perhaps. So it is a big slice of hindsight. But I don't think the double switch was required. We were treated to a lull in the momentum by the changes, with the potential of 5 minutes of dangerousness {which didn't happen} as opposed to the head of steam we were building throughout the second half. Ok. If Cameron was concussed then change him. At the time of the switch we were facing extra time, plenty of time to mix it up.

Was it 7 consecutive corners that led to our 2nd goal!?!

Wilson is the worst CD in the prem, possibly second worst only to rio Ferdinand His fault tonight was it? its never his fault is it? He's just not good enough end of. And it's very plain to see. Mediocre, very average player. Not good enough

Arnie has a brain that is a second ahead of his team mates. The need to keep up with him. Agree! I have critized Arnie every now and then since he came here, but a smashing 10 points tonight! Worked so hard, our best defender, picked up the ball, kept the ball, dangerous crosses. Just did everything right. Possibly his best performance ever on a football pitch. Looked very Zlatan tonight. must have been watching a different game. He gave the ball away consistently, put in a good shift defensively, created nothing going forward

The irony of you posting the last bit isn't lost on me though, very funny. If it's ok with you then I'll consult the almighty cheese before posting again. Then again I won't.

It's not the way I like to play but that's Stoke. Yep, absolutely charming.
