Have to say it was easily one of the greatest experiences of my life. First time to Madrid beautiful city and the atmosphere outside and in the stadium was breathtaking (which surprised me given so many tourists like me there! As for the game Messi, Ronaldo (despite an assist and goal!) and suarez weren't great. Best players were Neymar (my type of player no defensive discipline just pure flair!) and probably Modric for Madrid with benzema close behind. Isco out wide was like Jonny Walters with his aaard work tracking back but obviously good at football too It was fascinating to see these magicians at work. The movement, skill, ball control etc on show was surreal to watc and you just can't appreciate that as much on tv. Would recommend to any footy fan amazing talent on show never wanted it to end. Well worth the extortionate 320 squid I paid to get in! I'll be going again What???!!!! Better than Tuncay in the snow??? Only messing....sounds amazing. Definitely on my football wish list. You lucky git!!!

You lucky git!!! I hate to say it mate but Neymar may be slightly better than Tunny. Do it though mate it's so worth it. Beautiful weather too 25 degrees. Incidentally foxy as I'm totally out of the loop with the Potters this weekend what was your view on yesterday's performance? Sounds like we were short of ideas going forward...again

We look like a side with massive potential but unable to click properly. We seem to play in patches and against the decent sides that won't be enough. Missing Wingy and with Arnie a shadow of himself we look short on attacking ideas. That said we have a great chance to make up for it in midweek.

Agree bud and yeah our attacking situation is so frustrating. All these new signings yet it's just not happening up top. We don't seem to have any identity or consistency with team selections in forward areas which is a concern going into November. Watching Barca move the ball last night at such speed made me think of Bojan and how a guy who did that week in week out at the absolute highest level can't get into a Stoke team. It's baffling and in fairness his performances for us have been poor. I'd definitely start him in midweek though history tells us he's got serious talent it's now up to Hughes to get it out of him.
