It was Wilson unless Crouch has shrunk and grown a beard. Gouranga.

Wilson isn't a strong enough player to deal with Pelle. Huth is needed on Wednesday.

What IS the deal with Huth? Wilson has been half the player Huth can be. I'm not pursuing an agenda against Wilson, I'm more curious as to whether Huth has really "come back" from his injury, or whether his top flight game is finished and we'll be selling him in the next window a la Palacios?

But at the end of the day, IF and it seems we're not 100% sure, it was Wilson who played that poor header then he was directly responsible for the goal, at least in that moment.

Here's the conundrum. Are you happy for him to have a mostly good game and drop one costly bollock on a regular basis?
That's the dividing line.

At kick off today we had the 4th best defence in the league, so I'm not sure what exactly people expect.
Saying that I look forward to Wilson being replaced with Huth - a clean sheet guaranteed every game will see us in the top four in no time.

Wilson was just so weak with every physical challenge.
I would be looking to bring back Huth.

I think that Shawx needs Huth back. Don't want to be too critical of Wilson, because he's being played out of position, but Ryan seems a little reluctant to go too far forward because of Wilson's indecision. With Huth left back,(not AT left back) Ryan knows he can push up without leaving Bego exposed too much, and there's also the added likelihood that Huth can make something of corners at the other end.

I thought he was average. He dealt with it how he could, but having said that he is by no means a good CB hes too small and not physical enough for me. He looks like a child next to Pelle. Huth please or someone like him Mertesacker, Howedes... I miss the big German massively, So does our set piece defence.

Good game ? Beaten to the ball countless times in the penalty area....at least twice he just stood and watched as his opponent jumped for the ball. But what summed him up for me was when we had them pinned back in the area for about 5 minutes and the ball was cleared to him on the half way line.Instead of putting it back into the box like any sensible person would do he turned and knocked it back to Bego which allowed Saints to push out and all the momentum was lost. Wilson is crap, end of ! We need a centre half in the window....just like we did last january.

I'm not even going there.
I'm sure i watched the same game as everybody else. We wouldn't score if we were still playing now.
The simple fact is that they were much much better than us on the day. We never looked liked coring in a month of Sundays.
I understand the default criticism is to blame Wilson.
If Huth was playing we'd have been ruthless in the final third....
Enjoy your evening idiots.
