I have a feeling they took the seats away from above it and it became simply a sloping terrace before they finally made it all seater and then moved to the new stadium. Not sure you'd squeak this structure past health and safety these days

Yes was always one of the things you remember from years gone by on MOTD like the narrow nets on the goals at West Ham. The half circles behind the goals at Everton.....

They added extra height or a 2nd level in a strange shape because of the road behind. Then they did that strange half seating/standing paddocks with the angled divide for a couple of seasons, a very strange idea

That's the Milton road end in the photo and there were never any seats there, the upper tier and lower were just standing areas.I know as I had a season ticket at the old Dell but still a Stokie.

They were nicknamed " chocolate boxes " [ those 2 concrete things]
