4-6 weeks, that sucks. Will miss his terrier like defense and passing but I think we got it covered with Geoff in there with Nzonzi and Adam. TBH I think Geoff raised an eyebrow for Hughes and his staff last match and he would of probably got a run of games at CDM anyways.

With Wilson and Delap both having broken their legs, who's going to tell Arsenal's supporters that we've now had more broken legs than them in the past ten years? Get well soon Glenn. Massive blow. Is that true? Have we had more in the last 10? Couldn't give a shit really about the Arse but they must have had more than 3? Ramsey Eduardo Diaby???? Nasri Sagna twice... Fabrewanker Not forgetting the lamest of them all, possibly the lamest break that will ever be seen...

We're not even talking about one of the old heavy as fuck balls. Nope, one of the modern beach balls. What do they make Arsenal players out of?Balsa wood?

Real shame to lose such a stalwart. Glenn's been our best midfielder since promotion. Hopefully we can do well despite his absence for the next few weeks.

DM is the one area we have quite a few options , all of the above even muniesa could operate there I would say pretty much the exact opposite. We have fairly reliable cover everywhere except that very specialised role that Glenn plays. Granted we have options that could potentially work, but when you look at them... Geoff: almost totally untried Muni: ditto Zonz: not his game Wilson: unconvincing Sidwell: all of the above Palacios: let's not even go there Added to which, how many times did TP try and replace him over the years, only to discover that nobody ever played the role with quite the same consistency and discipline that Glenn does?

It will be a difficult 2-3 months without Glen.
Here's hoping he comes back to the level we are accustomed to seeing him play at and that the injury doesn't have any long term ramifications.
I thought Geoff did ok on Sunday but to echo the above, I am concerned at the replacements we have, in terms of quality and number.
Hopefully Geoff or Muniesa can step up to the plate, but concerned times they most defibitely are.

NOT saying any of them would be as effective as glen but like i said there are a few options palacios apart

strange, how after a totally accidental injury how none of Ireland's players didn't go round brandishing imaginary red cards and acting like uber mards whilst a German player tended to the injured player

Pity it took a busted leg for Whelo to get acclaim from Stokies.

Wishing Glenn a speedy recovery. Of the options mentioned above, Geoff is THE option imo. He has experience for the US and has done well in his 2 cameos for us in that position.

We'll see, but it could be another few weeks to get him back to full fitness once he has recovered.
