Id prefer win both but deffo cup. Better chance of getting into europe by winning a cup than finishing high in the league IMO

When we inevitably get this question being asked i am always mystified that some would be happy to see us out of the cup for the sake of a relatively meaningless win and 3 pts that wont make much difference come the end of the season. Call me old school but i still want to see my team win a trophy, many posters on here have never had that experience. The Soton away game will be forgotten come the next league match.Memories from cup runs last forever

We need to win something whilst we're a club on a relative high. Otherwise what's it all for?

Usually a good allocation of tickets for the Capita One Cup final. It would be the Cup game for me yeah good allocation for the corporate boys!!! My son works for Barclays and he was at OUR FA final in some posh seats with a load of other LONDON fans drinking bloody champagne and eating prawn sarnies while I was at the local pub pissed off!! He doesnt even like Stoke!! Too late to get him adopted then for not inviting his Dad....

If we were at home for both games then I'd say Lge, as anything but a win would be points dropped, but in this case I want, and indeed expect a Cup win....

Cup 100%.
I think we'll get beaten by 2 or 3 goals on Saturday anyway.

Its a massive IF as well, but IF we did win the League Cup this would further boost our 'attractiveness' to better players surely....? (Cant think of a better word than that at the mo)

I wonder what Hughes would say if he was 100% honest about it? Obvioulsy he can't say he's not bothered about one over the other one. Unlike majority of prem managers I suspect he would rather win the cup game too.

Cup.
We need a Cup.
And with it comes more European football.
