With us playing them twice in week. If we can only win one and lose the other, which would you prefer ?
An extended cup run, or three points which would improve our chances of finishing above them at the end of the season ?
I expect to be in a minority here, but it's the cup for me,
because:-
I'll be there: I fancy our chances of getting to the final if we get through this round: and as it's played afterwards, it will include the revenge.

Cup for me. If we didn't get 3 points at the weekend I would have said the league game.

We wont go down so the Cup. Although a win in either would soften the blow of a defeat in either.

from a purely selfish point of view, the league (because I will be there and am travelling there and back with a load of saints fans). I wont be at the match mid week and I dont believe I would get a ticket to any final if we got there either :-(

My son works for Barclays and he was at OUR FA final in some posh seats with a load of other LONDON fans drinking bloody champagne and eating prawn sarnies while I was at the local pub pissed off!! He doesnt even like Stoke!!

It's a good question, and even though I'm travelling to Southampton and missing the game in Stoke, I'd still take a cup win Just need a tasty draw then for the next round

Reminds me of the game at West Ham followed by our Cup Quarter final game, and that turned out ok in the end !

Cuppy cup for me. Our season will be more exciting towards the end rather than mid-table league finish which can leave us in no-mans land from about March with nothing to play for!

Cup for sure. We are already over a quarter of the way to safety after 8 games and I'll take narrow defeat plus good performance/some goals on Saturday followed by a victory of any kind (dives, grappling, Nello coming on and getting the winner) in the Cup.
Can we also be at home for the QFs as I'm away for next week's game?

League, couldn't give a shit about the cup tbh. Are you ukyestoney in disguise? Nah, I treat the FA Cup more seriously. It's weird with the League Cup, I'm a really nervous watcher of Stoke but I go to these games with no nerves and just have a laugh. Wish I could be like that for all games but I can't.

Cup as that's the one I'm going too! On top of that with so many decent clubs knocked out the cup it's really a great opportunity for us to go far in it
