Makes you wonder if any of his kids are his. Said it a long long time ago, he's got a gay run, not that there's anything wrong with a gay run.

Yes, I'm sure you speak for every Stokie - none of us would want a 19 year old England regular playing as one of our front 3. That would be the beginning of the end for this great club of ours!

England regular who was to tired to play against a pub team. He isn't the first teenage player to have minor medical problems at that age. It is easy to forget now but our own Ryan Shawcross had a condition (related to growing pains?) which meant that he dropped out of over half of his U21 call ups and a few league games. You wouldn't think he would grow up to be the Stoke player who usually plays most games of anyone in the squad and rarely drops to the bench even for League Cup games against lower league opposition.

You can be my deputy in the Sheriff's grammar department ,if you want, y-oh-y. I couldn't be arsed to correct it myself - I was too tired! EDIT: Did they stop teaching this sort of thing after we left school or has texting ruined the brain cells of the younger generation?

You may be right regarding the growing pains, he certainly hasn't grown a lot though strangely it has not affected him in the last two full consecutive games for Liverpool

I wasn't suggesting that Shawcross and Sterling had the same medical problem! I was merely pointing out that young players (just like other young people) can have minor medical problems which disappear as they get older.

Hopefully the condition that is causing his gay run and limp wrist will disappear as he gets older , it could be linked perhaps with the intermittent fatigue syndrome that only seems to manifest itself for international fixtures.

I might be in the minority here but in my opinion, Sterling is horrendously overrated.
Ive yet to really see anything to suggest that he is this potential world class player the media keep blowing their load over.

If I had my way, Sterling would never play for England again. To say that he is too tired to play 45 minutes (he could have been subbed at half-time) is appalling. It sets a terrible precedent and the precedent is that England don't matter.
What makes matters worse is when people like Gary Lineker, Brenda Rogers and others leap to his defence. Hodgson had to put out a statement to cover his own back.It shows just how untenable his position has become. The whole things stinks. While players like Shawcross would piss blood to play for England, others just don't give a toss.
Shocking.

Not so sure about the beginning of the end. But the money it'd take to bring Sterling here could be better spent, and he'd smash our wage structure. It would mark the end of our more sustainable/frugal/developmental approach. A philosophy I endorse. I don't think Waheem's all that, seems fairly easy to exclude from the game, and he becomes a passenger. So no, personally speaking of course, I wouldn't like him here. I prefer Assaidi. Having said that, talking of Liverpool players at Stoke, it'd be a laugh seeing Balotelli coming here on loan for Xmas {if Liverpool pay the majority of his corn}. Put him up front with his mucka Arnie. They could be electric, or could just stand on the touchline playing knuckles.

I can smell a one hit wonder from a mile away. The bloke is average, its Sky and the media that have bulled him up into something he isn't. You can also blame Woy for chucking any young player in at the deep end because of who they play for. Not the lads fault.

How very boring.
Really promising player, young lad, shown great promise for the future.
Lad felt tired, and was honest about his physical condition.
What do we do? Label him 'overrated , only in it for the money', etc.
Leave him alone, he's a young boy, who's been used a lot this season, and, I'm sure, proud to be playing for his country. He travelled, and played, but still we slam him.
Oh, and by the way, If Moses played for Swansea, and got the penalty against us, there would be hell to pay.
Football is a tribal game, but sometimes logic and empathy is left at the door when discussing players and incidents from rival clubs.
He fucking dived, you all know it.
