Despite selling many players for big money they have also spent relatively big. Man for man it showed - the team is suffering from under investment and lacks spark - stand still in this league and fall behind. Not this rubbish again.

I know you are a big fan of his but he has been no where near the standard that is required. Some of the stuff aimed at him is over the top and borders on the stupid but he doesn't look half the player he was in the second half of last season. I agree, that he couldnt create a dangerous situation, when he was on the pitch, as every other Stoke Player too in the last 30 minutes!!.....but to read "He is totally shit is boundless exaggerated"!!! . Do you realize, that he almost always keeps the ball in the front and rarely looses him. Which big mistakes should he have been made??? The last free kick of Southampton was no foul for me!! (far from an "Idiot" )Positioning was good, but there was no space on the wings at the end of the game to start a run. We needed a goal today, so you can´t speak of a good performance of Arni today...i know. But the eyes of some people are only suitable for black and white....between them there is nothing.....this is shocking!!

At some stage we need to give Sidwell a chance, Cameron, Nzonzi and Sidwell could be a strong midfield. Adam can't do defending and unless we gain a lot of possession is too slow going forward.
Would like us to try Bego Batdsley, Ryan,Huth, Pieters Cameron, Nzonzi, Sidwell Moses, Diouf, Arnie
at some stage.

I thought after one poor tackle We've decided that Sidwell was shit?

Arnie has actually been shit since he came on. Really really shit. And that fucking hurts because we know how much talent he has Does that make him an idiot? I will cover two posts in one here. 1. I have no agenda against Arnie. Check my previous posts. I don't rate him as highly as some on here but I am prepared to give him a chance. 2. We are 1-0 down with less than 5mins on the clock. Southampton player has the ball deep in our half on the left wing going nowhere and Arnie decides to plough right into him to give away a needless free kick. Giving them an attacking opportunity and more importantly allowing to waste a few more precious minutes. The man doesn't think. For the sake of balance I will also add that Adam and others are occasionally guilty of the same, therefore, when they do a similar thing they can also be classed as idiots. We give too many needless free kicks away.

I thought after one poor tackle We've decided that Sidwell was shit? Not me, he was best player in a poor team last year and he scored goals, given a chance he could be just what we need to control midfield.

Don't care who it is as the results irrelevant but no one should pay wed who is being considered for west ham
We absolutely have to get 4 points from our next two home games to give ourselves a chance of 20 by new year .
We are in a battle to get 40 now unequivocally so and have key injuries too wed is a game we simply don't need and we don't end any more after it too

I thought after one poor tackle We've decided that Sidwell was shit? Getting the typical treatment on here per usual. He'd be better than Adam defensively. sooo many free kicks.

I would rather us have a good cup run that stay in this shitty league if it came to that. We should play our strongest team on wed and go for it. We need to change the tactics we used today that is for certain.

Not one shot on target in 95 minutes of football. That is the saddest part of it; our inability to create chances. Our freekicks and corners are crap and we never manage to create a goal scoring opportunity from them. Very sad. Today's performance was so mediocre. Unbelievably stale

But in the meantime they scored and hit the woodwork 4 times. Tadic was running circles around both our fullbacks. And we were as sterile as sterile can ever be

Where as our fate is that we're stuck with Wilson Palacios... It's just better transfer management in regards for the ability to sell on. If anything Deadwood has set us back more than anything.

Cutting edge doesn't come at bargain basement prices Look at he value of the Southampton players acquired in the summer Hughes and we are paying the price for a boom and bust investment policy the only thing yet to be decided is how big is the price ticket as if it get s to a parachute payment its going to prove to be fundamentally flawed

[/quote On the bench they had Victor Wanyama - £12.5 m and Shane Long (£12m) So thats at least 5 £10m plus players They have recouped fortunes for sure but (as I said earlier) spent relatively big too Boskampsflaps - Id like to understand why you think its rubbish. We clearly have a 'new' policy when it comes to signings (ie they need to be cheap / free or on loan) - Too much of that and quality overall dips
