I have Sky TV with sports only and can't fault it tbh, I am now looking to get broadband and i have been looking around at deals, but i'm a bit miffed at having to pay £16 for a BT landline.
Virgin want £30 for BB only without a landline and a £49 set up fee
Sky have offered me Sky unlimited BB at £19.15 per month inc phone line, he was going on about speeds of between 12.9 - 19..whatever that means.
Is this any good?
Its only for myself, and i'll use it for surfing etc and running my swann cctv system which i've just got as a present, (4 cameras & hardrive)
At the moment, i use next doors wifi (with permission) and give them a tenner but they move out in November
Thanks in advance

Virgin is expensive but superb mate. I've had it before but currently use Sky. Had loads of problems with Sky, which they have rectified to be totally fair, but I much prefer Virgin and will be swapping back shortly.
I think its well worth paying the extra for.

Some background reading - www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cheap-broadbandGuess it all depends if you require fibre vs adsl, a home phone or not, length of contract, etc, etc.. If you pay for Sky TV you should be able to haggle a reasonable deal to take on their BB/Phone offer.

Sounds fast enough for what you need. 150 meg for one person is excessive
