Wilson bossed it at the back. Brilliant display.
Cameron completely changed the game and proved you can play in the holding midfield role, and still have a positive impact on the game. Hopefully that bollocks is now put to bed.
Plus the "he won't even get on the bench" nonsense.
Massive 3 points today. Hard earned too. Onwards and upwards.

Both played well. Wilson put a brilliant tackle in the second half which epitomized the battling spirit.
Cameron changed the game. Simple.

Errrrm. Don't forget super Jon Walters. He did more in 15 mins than Marko has done all season

I too have taken some stick for defending Cameron and my continued suggestions that he has a part to play. Was quality today. Vindicated.

Bony took the piss out of Shawcross and Wilson.
Cameron dealt with him for fun though.

Cameron should retain the shirt now. I can't remember the last time a centre midfielder was that influential for us. It's one thing breaking up the play, it's another to break forward and have a positive impact.
A joy to watch.

I feared the worst in the first 10 minutes with those little interchanges between Bony and Sigurdsson as Wilson is prone to switching off a little but we survived that and got better with Wilson doing very well.
Cameron seems to have a brilliant nack of nicking balls off players toes and he did that perfectly today.
On a side note not sure what changed in the second half but I can hardly recall Sigurdsson touching the ball.

I'd probably drop NZonzi and bring Glen back.

Wilson won't have a tougher opponent all season and he did a fine job. Bony is immense.
Cameron came on and read the game perfectly, nicking balls here there and everywhere.

Bony took the piss out of Shawcross and Wilson. Cameron dealt with him for fun though. Took the piss but didn't score once. In fact he barely looked like scoring. That was generous of him at least.

But you'd still bring back Whelan to play THAT role and actually replace N'Zonzi with Geoff?
Interesting.

Cameron was ace. Wilson was ok. He got battered a bit but that was to be expected but he didn't make any major cock ups and mopped up well. Solid 6!

Interesting.
Geoff showed you can do both. I'd play Geoff and Glenn both at the base of midfield. Cameron having the license to break forward.

Bony took the piss out of Shawcross and Wilson. Cameron dealt with him for fun though. Mmmm I'll have to disagree there. I thought Shawcross(penalty aside, which I need to see again) and Wilson were superb and kept Bony pretty quiet to be honest. They looked a good side going forward at times but Bony never looked like scoring.

No one said you can't have a positive impact, Whelan has had plenty of positive influence in games, so that bollocks was never said, what was actually mentioned is dm's don't score regularly and you know what, its still bloody true.

I am happy, normally we don't need our dm to change the game as the one we usually have has been in outstanding form, unfortunately Hughes dropped a bollock with his starting line up.

At the moment on form I think Glen, N'Zonzi and Adam have made their cases for the inclusion in the midfield with Cameron now making a case also. Ireland and Sidwell are down the pecking order with Palacios so far down the pecking order I'd probably play with one of the training cones before him. Ireland is a bit of worry for me because he was once again missing for large portions of the game and I think he's suffering a lot from Odemwingie's and Arnies absences but obviously one is long term injured and the other is a long term mard arse who may show up next week. At least with Sparky at the helm most of the squad know they are only a good performance or two away from a starting spot.

I thought Shawcross(penalty aside, which I need to see again) and Wilson were superb and kept Bony pretty quiet to be honest. They looked a good side going forward at times but Bony never looked like scoring. Both centre halves were shit scared of going near him and Swansea built every attack through him. He had oceans of space to pick out his man every time. Cameron used his footballing brain to suss out that Bony is useless on the deck when you come through the side of him quickly to knick the ball away, rather than playing in to him by going up his backside where he can and will roll you, or con a foul out of the ref. The result? Swansea couldn't hold the ball up anywhere near as much and started using the flanks more. Bony dropped deeper where Cameron could pick him up even easier and he ended up with a yellow after giving away a foul because he was rattled. Perfection.

Adam easily man of the match.
Loved Cameron last season and until just after Christmas was in contention for player of the year. Looked good when he came on.
Bojan has to be our best player (technically) so if he can't even make a sub appearance at home to Swansea then something is wrong. Hughes didn't take this much time to bed arnie in. I hope he gets his chance soon and takes it because I think he could make the difference

Cameron was very good. Intelligent, kept the ball well, used it well. Just what we'd been missing for the first hour or so.
Anyone who thinks Whelan doesn't influence games doesn't know anything about football. The first 70 minutes made it pretty clear that he does.
Wilson had his usual game. Solid for the vast majority then a couple of dodgy moments where Ryan had to rescue him.
