If they've still got it these days it will be a good night. Live in the City of Light one of my favourite albums of all time.

The last time I saw them was in 1986 at Milton Keynes bowl...on the very night of the "hand of god" goal.
We had gone to see big audio dynamite, Lloyd Cole, the Waterboys and dr and the medics were all good too...
Then came Simple Minds, whom I had previously liked - Kerr boasted England were losing, and it started to rain....
so we gave him the v's and found a pub to watch the match. the miserable jock.

Agree, excellent band and 'Live in the city of light' has got to be one of the best live albums ever.
Surprised to see tickets still available as I thought this would have sold out pretty quickly.

Big Audio were great - I did some crowd surfing and there were some excellent girlies knocking around a fine day ruined by the stumpy cheat and a blind referee. - from that day forward I've not worried whether England do well so long as they beat the argies...

It's a bit steep but I look at the money saved driving to Manchester or brum and the parking involved plus food and drink. Kinda balances it up a bit. And the best bit is the bus to Hanley goes past my house

Saw them in Taormina, Sicily at the end of July this year.
They played outdoors in the ruins of the Greek amphitheater. Mount Etna was gently erupting in the distant dark sky. All the greatest hits were played to perfection.
I can honestly say it was a once in a lifetime occasion.
Amazing

Anyone who can deny Glitering Prizes' bass line isn't quality is a damn fool. Having met Jim too, he's a top fella, I won't have a bad word.
