Think of all those tens of millions of Premier League fans around the globe who get to watch The Mighty Potters TWICE over the Christmas Hols.
Just imagine if we did a cheeky double.... Chelsea and Man United..... Here comes The Glory lads (and lasses) here it comes....

Cannot believe the bastards have done it to me again,i'm on afternoons on the Monday and have no holidays spare so it looks like a swap or a split shift or watching on the box

I think there might be a festive atmosphere against Chelsea so although Monday night football is indeed shit I'm not bothered that close to a week off. New Years Day is a kick in the balls though. Does no one consider the functioning alcoholic anymore?

12.45 or 3.00 on NYD, my head will still feel like it's in a cement mixer.
Thankfully, I'll be nearer the loo than most of those in attendance.
Sing, but not too loud folks, eh... ;-)

Another idea that simply does not take into account football fans in the slightest. I really am pissed off.

I'm off for 2 weeks myself mate so I'm ok with the change of times. probably go with Mart for Everton. Can't imagine LMH is too chuffed though. Could be a barren Christmas for points.

Working 12-9 NYD so miss MU game but now able to see chelski game. 10am kickoff would be better and get 4 games live in a day lol.
Trains don't run on xmas day/boxing day, all other days they do. Check engineering works around xmas/ny, normally a busy period for the boys in orange.

The good news is that we get the chance to spoil Christmas for the millions of Russian Chelsea fans and New Year's Day for the billions of Man U fans in Asia!
Shame about the schedule changes but, from the club's point of view, better that two sell out games are live on TV than Stoke v Burnley.

The Monday night one will be ace - most folk will have broken up, a cold freezing night at the Brit for the pansy boys from the south, packed house on TV, whats not to like New Years Day at 12.45 can fuck off though grumble Monday nights are a bastard for idiots like me and my buddy who come down from East Yorkshire. 3 hours drive through those bloody roadworks on the M1 and not back home .till 1.30am. And new years day will be a right ballache for us too.

I think we are missing the big point. This means that we are ALL NOW AVAILABLE TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING ON THE SATURDAY. The cost of the game just went up by £300 at least !!
