As I put on another thread, I have just had a reply from Josh Whittaker - ticket office manager. They are aware of the problem with the ticketing system. They did test the system when the Southampton Cup ticketing went "live" and it was working. Unfortunately it stopped working properly after the staff went home. The "fix" will be carried out by an outside agency (who are responsible for maintaining the system) so it won't be fixed until tomorrow - hopefully earlier rather than later tomorrow.
In the meantime Josh Whittaker apologises unreservedly for any inconvenience.
I don't know the full extent of the problem but, in my case, when I try to buy my usual ST seat for the cup game, the system will not allow me to do so. It does show my seat on the seating plan with a red "R" superimposed on it but I can't select or pay for it.
Now sorted - apparently! 12:00 2/10 For some - but not others!

scfcdirect.com very glitchy today to say the least...
I'm trying to order tickets for St Mary's and it's doing one of two things;
- I can choose seats but when you press 'add to basket' the next screen says basket is empty
or, - On the odd occasion where I can add tickets to the basket and press 'place order' I get the message, "We apologise for the inconvenience but we could not process your payment"
Looks like a good, old-fashioned phone call to the TO is required...

Yes, I got fed up of waiting for them to sort the database out and rang up half an hour ago to book my seat for the Southampton Cup game. I was surprised to find that I was as low as number 4 in the queue and only had to wait 5 minutes to get to the front. Sorted!

I tried to buy soton away tickets just now, everything went fine up Until I had to pay and then it wouldn't process. I gave up in the end and phoned up, the only problem then was I had to have the customer number and post code of each of the 5 other lads to get their tickets. The beauty of doing it online was they are all on my friends and family so there's no faffing to do.

Thought I'd give it one more try online before phoning (for Southampton (A) on 25/10).
Took 3 attempts to get tickets in the basket but eventually went through.
Hoping for a cracking, open game with plenty of space in behind to counter and a fully fit Diouf...

I used the following method:- 1.logged in using reference number on season card 2.click on tickets tab in the grey bar DON't click on the individual game from the drop down 3. This brings up a list of games click choose seats for the league cup game 4. If you are a season ticket holder this will bring up your seat click on the tick box 5. Click buy selected on the bottom right of screen to add to basket. 6.Checkout and pay Jobs a good-un

A point to note, the scfcdirect site is problematic in Firefox, seems to clear seats and not accept selections when needed. Some more testing at SCFC towers needed.

Anyone know the answer to this query ?
I'm taking my lad to spurs away, he's 16 on the 29th of this month, by the time the game arrives he'll be 16 but when I'm buying his ticket he'll only be 15. Which price ticket have I gotta buy ? Under 16's or adult ?

There seem to be a load of big Rs on seats. Isn't that what its all about? That's cos ST seats are reserved until the 8th (I think) so if, like me, you want a ticket but don't want your own seat, you have to wait til the 8th then go and nab someone elses. That's how I understand it, at least.
