Roma are playing well tonight, they look a very decent side. Pretty much dominated this first half so far, Man City started very quickly but Roma soon snuffed them out.

The way they play reminds me of Crouchy and us.Everything goes into Totti and lightning runners off him.Hopefully Crouchy will still be doing it at 38!

What's happened to Ya Ya Toure? He runs like a pensioner chasing a bus and must have put on two stone from last season.

The way they play reminds me of Crouchy and us.Everything goes into Totti and lightning runners off him.Hopefully Crouchy will still be doing it at 38! With the exception that despite being 38, Totti seems to have a surprising burst of pace to his play. He's not the cruise missile he once was (he was absolutely rapid in his mid-twenties) but he's no slow coach. He seems to have a very low centre of gravity which means he can turn and run in a split second. It's that ability to turn and shift his weight in such quick fashion that actually gives him the advantage over many defenders (especially big, less agile ones) and negates the fact he's not quite as pacey as he was 10 years ago. I reckon he'd still outpace donkeys like Mertesacker, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand on the turn and sprint. He's absolutely world class to be honest. His passing is incredibly accurate and the technique behind that finish was absolutely sublime. Despite his age, he'd walk into the majority of Premiership teams imo.

I like how he lifted the ball so the the goalie didn't get a foot or leg on it. Our British players always drill it low and most times its saved by a foot or leg in the way
