Because he's played piss poor for most of the season? Not sure of a scot who is worthy of replacing him though This I cant understand, has been a rock for us.

Adam is too slow, and too much of a passenger. I like him and he's still arguably our most clinical player in front of goal but watching him blowing out of his arse is getting a bit tiresome. I know he's not a supreme athlete like some modern day footballers but surely he should be capable of finishing 90 mins?

Scotland must therefore be awash with quality right backs performing well at the highest level.

I would have thought he offers something different in Scotland's midfield. Both those teams will get men behind the ball and he would be a handy player to bring on if you needed more threat in the last 20 minutes.
I take it Alan Hutton is Scotland's right back, and in fairness he's started the season well.

Good in terms of injury situation.
He was on the receiving end of 2 or 3 late tackles last night
We don't want any more players sidelined

Not in the league he hasn't, and he isn't fit enough to last the pace in Premier League. He wasn't the only one struggling last night, but he had a real poor game and Whelan did the work of both men in fairness to him...

He was a passenger last night at times (Whelan's workrate was absolutely superb), and Ireland will replace him on Saturday I'm certain of it....

He hasn't been picked for a while and even when he was Strachan didn't really trust him.

Not having that, N'Zonzi was still driving forward in injury time and is fit as a fiddle. Fair point from Wezza about Adam taking a knock, but he wasn't at the races and looks cumbersome at times. He should be fitter....

It didn't matter last night because they were shit but the reason Glenn is so important and stands out a mile is that we when play 4231, one of the two has no discipline, its nothing to do with Ireland/Adam/Bojan role.
