He really does bloody love us:
"Stoke never let you down...always give 100%...we can never criticise Stoke" etc

Didn't like him as a player but think him and Carragher are great pundits, they say exactly how it is.
Think they would both make great coaches.

Tonight was a good game played in very rainy conditions.
A bit nervous considering we were looking for our first home win but we played some nice stuff and kept going for the second goal.
Thumbs up from me too Gary

I would rather have electrodes fitted to my knackers than listen that Scouse bastuurd. I've already worn the mute button out. He should come with a government health warning or a fucking English linguist.

Could it be, that he's so guilty about that sending off that he should have had against us, that he's trying to make up?

Would love to think so, but doubt he is that deep plus as a manure player for many years there must have been many other times he was saved by the ref,so expected it. Funnily enough, he wrote an article explaining why he quit football and in particular he cited the tackle on Ethers. Openly said he should have gone and he stated that game against us plus the game against West Brom where he got given the run around were basically the two final nails in the coffin.

You'd think, given his love for us and how much a part of the England set up he is, he might have said something to Hodgson like "Oy, Roy, y'know how I was probably the stand-out defender of my generation? And y'know how you've brought me in to the England set up to lend my advice and experience? Well let me offer you some advice on England's defensive problems and how we might address them: Y'see Roy, the defenders you're picking are a shower of shit. But there's this bloke over at Stoke who, time and and again, produces the best defensive displays in the Premiership. He's English, he came up through the Manchester United academy, he plays for a top half team, he's got over 200 Premier league appearances to his name, all of them as his team's captain, he's 26 years old..."

It's any word criticising anything to do with Stoke City.... however reasonable and rational it is. We could lose 0-6 at home to Alfreton Town in the cup and if someone suggests we should just perhaps have done better that someone becomes a pariah and indicative of an anti Stoke agenda.

Probably waiting for Hodgson to mess up at the Euro's and then take the job, pick Ryan and make him Captain and win the World Cup. That would be my strategy anyway.

He offers something that most pundits don't, that is knowledgeable insight rather than stating the obvious.

When Ryan got THAT call up from Woy, was it not on the recommendation of Neville? I'm sure I read that somewhere?
