Absolutely dreadful so far.
Missed a stone wall penalty (BBC: "How was that not a penalty?").
Tioti could well have seen red for the deliberate rake of the studs on Crouch.
Every 50-50 decision going Newcastle's way. Every single one. When Moses gets a push and goes down - play on. When their players go down with the slightest of pushes - free kick.

One of the worst displays of officiating you're likely to see this season.

I thought Tiote raised his hands to Bardsley during that kerfuffle on 90 mins.

Utter clueless all night.
I lost count for both teams how many fouls were given for players simply falling over.

The wankest most appalling attempt at officiating I've ever seen at a football match. The fucking linesman running the sentinel stand line should be fucking shot for some of his decisions. He was clueless for every decision from throw ins to fouls. And don't get me started on that clown Pawson.

The linesman on the novas stand side was appalling The one in front of us in the Q Railing was utter dog shit. Hughes and his staff were at him all night. Ably backed up by the biggest cheat in football, Andre Marriner.

He shouldn't be allowed to make a cup of tea never mind officiate a premier league football match and for his assistants just wow. Pure comedy gold that was from them I'm sure bardsley was man handled around his neck in the 90th although I could be wrong

All three of them were shocking, giving Newcastle every decision each time one of their players fell over on the flanks. I feel doubly sorry for Pardew now he's shelled out all that money bribing them and his team still lost.

The one on the Novus side actually got most things right (sorry). The ref made him look like a twat a few times by giving the (wrong) opposite decision.

After not allowing us the advantage and stopping the game to award us a freekick and to then not book their player was an absolute fcuking howler and to then book Bardsley nearly on the halfway line was simply pathetic.
These the best this country has to offer then what a fcuking state it's in and can only get worse.

The one where Colback fell over and grabbed the ball was hilarious. The liner couldn't have had a better view if he tried. He fucked it up.
The coup de grace was when the liner pointed one way and the ref the other. Neither realised for a few seconds, looked at each other and the ref changes his mind. It was just hilarious. They didn't have a clue.

That was one of the worst performances ever. They seemed to work on the basis that if you fell over its a free kick. Rubbish. What you mean to say is, if a newcastle player fell over. Our lads were getting kicked in the back without even a caution. The officiating of tonights match typifies all my opinions on modern day refereeing. The lot of them should be fucked off. Pulis had the best idea, a league system for referee's.

Yes lots of times when play was stopped and me and the lad were asking each other "what happened then?" - gave them two free kicks, same thing happens to us in the box, no penno given. Hopeless.

The penalty decision was incredible. You couldn't make a clearer example of a penalty if you were filming a training video starring Sean Bean and Nello. How can two officials within fifteen yards with a clear view miss it? How is it possible?

Was it me or, did the match officials have an absolute 'mare' tonight.
A hard job at the best of times - but if you cant even get the straightforward decisions right --- well, its going to be a long, long night.
And so it proved
Im deliberately steering clear of the football on this one, Stoke City are making things hard enough off their own bat, without clowns like these performing at borderline laughable levels of incompetence throughout with, too many decisions either not made at all or, just plain wrong,
so awful an officiating performance - it was not true - an obvious penalty - a referee hardly 15 yards away, just what went though his tiny mind ?
did he bottle it ? was he a coward ? maybe both actually
and the lino down on the sentinal stand side - dont get me started ---please !
me - Id give em 2/10 and a swift return to refereeing/ officiating in the lower leagues - all three of them - at least until they get their act together

The incident with Arnie and his shin pad tape was the most absurd thing I've seen. It wasn't just that they made him go off, it was that they kept him off for so long. When a player blatantly feigns injury, he's waved straight back on. Idiot. Idiot idiot idiot fucking idiot.
