I remember when fanzines were radical and daring Sign of the times I suppose, the whole of football seems to have turned slightly beige. You won't remember anybody associated with SCFC being called a "monumental c***" in any one of our 561 issues.

As with any Manager/Director, Scholes is selective with information. Personally I'm not interested in anything he has to say. 12 months interest free credit for ST's - no discussion. Transport to away games for those outside of Stoke - nope. Cant stand the bloke - in case you cant tell. ;-)

Il say 14 pages long this thread. Only if Sheikhy spills the (alleged) beans. If he continues to pretend that Admin won't let him post what he claims to know, then the thread will wither and die. True. Momo needs to get his balls out here.

That's what I mean all a little dull now isn't it? They have taken the game off us and turned us into a forelock tugging lot who are terrified of upsetting a Mr Bean look alike in a suit.

Momo needs to get his balls out here. |I think I've learned the new oatcake rules. One member of admin eggs you on, one member of admin gets dreadfully offended and on their prissy high horse and deletes your posts. All the fuckers lies are in the public domain anyhow. Season ticket credit lies, Valencia lies, Multi Buy lies etc etc. Some of you must have Alzheimer's, particularly at Ostcake HQ where it all passes without so much as a fart yet 18 months later you can still find articles slagging the ex manager off.

Scholes didn't like the ex manager, the admin don't, Go figure! As a confirmed lefty I'm surprised you're not familiar of control of the press! I'm sure someone must have said something like 'he who controls the press', the press being the oatcake, 'controls the majority of people'. Maybe it was Rupert Murdoch.

Third word second paragraph - missing apostrophe! Sort it! Don't let your standards slip Sheikhy - if you do then the powers of darkness (i.e. Admin) win.

Anything to back up your "liar" accusation? Plenty thanks but I'm not in the habit of typing stuff that the power crazed can delete on a whim because it might upset the club. Riiiiiiight

As with any Manager/Director, Scholes is selective with information. Personally I'm not interested in anything he has to say. 12 months interest free credit for ST's - no discussion. Transport to away games for those outside of Stoke - nope. Cant stand the bloke - in case you cant tell. ;-) I swear theres something called a train.

That entire article is undermined by the number of failed membership schemes that have faded into history under his leadership

This thread is exactly why I love English Football: long memories, old relationships and incredible angst!
I do have to say though, when you draw up a business plan for your owners which doesn't include yourself, you know you hate your job.

I've never understood why the club are expected to be taking it upon themselves to ferry supporters anywhere, it must be one of the only types of entertainment where people expect those holding the event to ferry them about, I mean if I was going to the cinema I wouldn't expect them to lay on a load of coaches so I could go (I realise its different distance wise but you get my drift) .
