Disappointing, winnable and losable in equal measure and a team we play twice in the league anyway, so not one to set the pulse racing

A bit disappointing, it will be tough. I'm sure Southampton will be more disappointed than us though.

Dont really get the negativity... Tough draw yes but winnable, no long distance travelling. Yes would have been nice to get lower league opposition but we've avoided the 'big boys'

Not the best, but it's winnable. They're in surprisingly good shape, unfortunately for us.

Could have done a lot worse.
Just thankful we didn't get Chelsea, Man City or Spurs (although to a lesser extent).

Disappointing, winnable and losable in equal measure and a team we play twice in the league anyway, so not one to set the pulse racing Why does that always seem to happen so regularly with teams playing each other twice in the cup and league so soon? First Sunderland now Southampton, seen it before quite a lot, annoying!

Just realised we are playing them a few days after the league match at St. Mary's.

Good draw, once it's last 16 the chances of playing weak teams are pretty remote. Go on Stoke you can do it!

Pleased with that draw.
Could have been better, but could have been a whole lot worse.
We have had some good games against them recently, so certainly shouldn't be a bore draw.

I would have hoped to have avoided these tbh.
We've draw all 4 games against them over the past 2 seasons haven't we?

A winnable fixture, but certainly more difficult than Sunderland.
