Walters would look like messi/ronaldo in that league, maybe he has found his level?

I can't believe our medics looked at him and thought he was remotely fit to play premier league football. He looks half the size he was last season and all the better for it.

Scored a hatrick last night. Worth checking out the goals; 2 stunning free kicks and an emphatic penalty. link. Looks to me like he's lost a few pounds; or maybe hoops are more flattering than stripes?

He's always had something about him, it is a lesser league than the Prem but I wouldn't be against having another look at him next season.

Football is officially dead.

A goal in any league. A player lacking fitness and form will never look good. Seems he's found both up here. Maybe the lower standard has helped. But he is showing something now we certainly didn't see in a Stôke shirt.

It's a toss level but he is a goal scorer. He will get a move to a good league based on it I reckon and then we shall if he can be the player he once promised to be. I think he will.

This could be a long running thread this season! Unless it's anchored. Might be the best thing.

This could be a long running thread this season! Unless it's anchored. Might be the best thing. Yes, how dare we on a football forum point out footballing matters, especially ones that concern an ex player of ours (that we all had high hopes for but didn't reach the hype) who has hit form and showing potentially what he could have done! Close the board down now! Or even better still if you don't want to read it, don't open it and even comment on it!!

Actually I think this could be quite an entertaining thread if it lasts the whole season; one that never dies because the man is a goal machine up here.

Sidibe could score 20 in that league, doesn't seem a premier lea standard player.

Ok, apologies if I mis read your post, it was the bit about anchoring it and you saying might be for the best. Will you ever forgive me? Ok - I forgive! The comment about anchoring maybe being the best thing for this thread is it could get very repetitive. Meaning every time he scores it gets bumped back to the top and attracts the usual comments that the SPL is pish and anyone could score. But, let's see what happens!
