What a class act this lad is,he's growing in stature week by week and is really keeping that midfield ticking over.So much time on the ball and makes it look so easy and has unbelievable feet, shooting aside,he's for me our most influential player who doesn't get the plaudits he deserves.

He's an angry poet though. Class act...when he isn't seeing the red mist.

Apart from the three behind Diouf, the team played well, imo. At times, it was like Nzonzi was having a walk around the park.

He definitely doesn't get enough credit. He's supremely comfortable in possession and rarely wastes a pass. It's no wonder Hughes was so keen to keep him.

In modern football you have to keep your best players. Nnonzi is one of our best players and proved it again tonight. Man utd , Liverpool, Spurs , Arsenal & Everton would all be improved with him in their team.

Suspect he will only score great goals,no scruffy ones.

Always been a class act for us, however he's now starting to be consistently a class act. Not seen the incident from tonight but the text I got was that Rodwell should have walked for the challenge

I agree mate, he certainly is having more shots now because he's getting into goal scoring positions every game. He's got a cracking shot on him at times and, if he starts hitting the target a bit more often he'll be outstanding for us. I think we're beginning to get it right all over the pitch if only we could hit the back of the net more often. I think we're going to absolutely hammer some team very soon.

Indeed.
However the thing is, if he'd stayed down and writhed around on the floor in agony (rather than doing what he did do), then I'm pretty sure that Rodwell would have got a straight red.
Somebody needs to teach him ...

Uriah Rennie showed the way with this sort of thing. Attempted murder is always a yellow.

The finishing is a real issue though, he couldn't score in the proverbial brothel with next weeks proverbial winning lotto numbers tattooed on his proverbial nut sack.

You always say it so much better than I do momo! I suppose you could take the view that...If his finishing was better, he'd probably be at Arsenal. He's a very good player (IMO) but his finishing really is pretty poor.

Seeing the replay, the Rodwell tackle would probably have been a red in most other games. N'Zonzi doesn't need to writhe around, just stay down and assess if there is any damage. I was glad that he didn't go hunting Rodwell for any retribution I admire his passion for the game but he does need to calm down in these situations What's more the last time we played against 10 men we didn't manage to win, so maybe keeping Rodwell on the pitch was to our advantage Hughes summarised the situation in his post match interview - he thought that the referee handle the incident with a lot of common sense. He acknowledged that it was a bad tackle but that there is absolutely no excuse for such a reaction

I see people say he slows us down but for me he is the player that makes us tick. His passing is generally flawless and he dominates midfield in most games he plays in.

Love Zonzi he is a class act.. But (like a lot of great players) he does have a bit of the Nicklas Bendtner about him... He'll never be as good as he thinks he is....

Great player.
Shooting doesn't need to be his strong point. We have plenty of other offensive midfielders who need to improve on that front.

N'Zonzi and Muniesa ooze class. N'Zonzi needs to improve his shooting and Muniesa needs more time getting used to this league. We have two special gems in our team for me. I love watching class players even they can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
