Just shown the goal on Sky - great shot
Determined to prove he's good enough to start
Sounds like Butland is doing well

Should be starting in the Prem, got to say it'll be difficult not to pick him against Castle, same for Butland

I'd pick him every week, I think he is as good if not better as a defender than pieters and a lot better going forward, he's also better at centre back than Wilson

What an interesting theological statement.
Without putting a downer on things, we've been caught out down the left more often than I'd like.

Stated the other day that he's a damned good player.
When he first came he was getting knocked off the ball left right and centre but now he's filled out he looks brilliant.

Muniesa has to be one of the single best signings at the club in recent times. Not only a top notch footballer, but also comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke in all his interviews and comments on social media too.
We're lucky to have him.

Fantastic going forward, but they did have a fair bit of joy down our left.

So happy for him to score. Should be starting against Newcastle. Pieters has been great so far as well, whoever misses out on Monday can be considered very unlucky.

Anyway, Mikael Hansson scored twice in a 4-1 win against Bristol Rovers in about 2000, when Mr G was the manager!

For me the reason why Sunderland had so much freedom down the left was due to Assaidi being a lazy b*stard throughout the match.

Play him in front of Pieters?
