So far. It could be a very interesting season. Who'll be the fist in the sack race? Gouranga.

Don't know whether to change it to "first in the sack race" or "fist in the sack face" Gouranga.

'bert, I think every early season throws up some 'odd' results and it may take 6 to 10 games for things to settle down. Remember Blackpool and Hull in their first Pre seasons, Stoke at Bolton etc Living down here has been 'difficult' to say the least and I was not happy when the fixtures came out!! Let's get Pards the sack and put the world back on an even keel

Yes it is similar for 'strange results' early doors most seasons, but for some reason I just feel this season is somehow different. The so called smaller teams seem a lot stronger this season with nobody a push over. Normally there are a couple of teams in obvious free fall and certs for relegation by the end of October, the only exception being Palace last season. We need to start winning the games we should win because once things settle down there's not going to be many Citeh results round the corner. I've got an idea . . . . let's start by beating 'castle next Monday.

Southampton are really surprising me so far.
You lose an absolute pile of your best players, questions about whether you can actually put a team together for the start of the season, make a few signings in the final weeks of the window and everything clicks immediately by the looks of it and you dole out spankings left right and centre.
