Yes it s a compliment of sorts. But Pellegrini has clearly forgotten the Citeh match at the Brit last year when we played them off the park and did everything but score whilst they clung on for a draw. One of Hughes' proudest achievements is that in three games when he has taken charge of Stoke against Citeh they (Citeh) have only scored once!

We put in a great performance in that home game last season and I think had we scored and won it 1-0 (we could have had a hat full) it might have gone down as one of the performances of the season but because it was a draw I think it was largely overlooked.
