Definitely an upgrade on what I've seen of Sidwell so far. Gouranga.

How much money have Hull got? Didn't they somehow steal 12 million quid from Sunderland for Long?

Didn't they somehow steal 12 million quid from Sunderland for Long? I presume you mean Southampton? All the same he's one player with the number they and West Ham have brought in they must be walking a tightrope re FFP on wages. I looked at West Ham yesterday and they must have had almost a new team. Hull In: Jake Livermore (Tottenham Hotspur, £8m), Robert Snodgrass (Norwich City, £7m), Michael Dawson (Tottenham Hotspur, £3.5m), Andrew Robertson (Dundee United, £2.85m), Tom Ince (Blackpool, Compensation to be agreed), Karim Rossi (Stoke City), Michael Dawson (Tottenham, Undisclosed), Brian Lenihan (Cork City, Undisclosed), Mo Diame (West Ham, Undisclosed), Abel Hernandez (Palermo, Undisclosed), Gaston Ramirez (Southampton, Loan), Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle, Loan). Out: Shane Long (Southampton, £12m), George Boyd (Burnley, £3m), Matty Fryatt (Nottingham Forest), Paul McElroy (Sheffield Wednesday), Conor Henderson (Crawley Town), Cameron Stewart (Ipswich Town), Jack Barlow (Boston United), Robert Koren (Melbourne City), Mark Oxley (Hibernian, Loan), Conor Townsend (Dundee United, Loan), Joe Dudgeon (Barnsley, Loan). West Ham In: Alex Song (Barcelona, Loan), Enner Valencia (Pachuca, £12m), Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich Town, £3.75m), Cheikhou Kouyate (Anderlecht, Undisclosed), Mauro Zarate (Velez Sarsfield, Undisclosed), Diafra Sakho (FC Metz, Undisclosed), Diego Poyet (Charlton Athletic, Compensation), Carl Jenkinson (Arsenal, Loan), Morgan Amalfitano (Marseille, Undisclosed). Out: Ben Sheaf (Arsenal, Undisclosed), Joe Cole (Aston Villa), Matt Taylor (Burnley), Stephen Henderson (Charlton Athletic), Robert Girdlestone (Chelmsford City), Charlie Wyke (MK Dons), Raphael Spiegel (Crawley Town, Loan), George Moncur (Colchester United, Loan), Mo Diame (Hull, Undisclosed). I'll be very interested in seeing Hulls end of season figures in particular.

Sidwell has been poor so far but the amount of criticism he's getting is unwarranted in my opinion. With regards to yesterday's tackle I believe that he had to put in the tackle as the QPR player was in a dangerous shooting position. That's not to say that he hasn't been poor so far and yes I believe Fletcher would be an up-grade

Didn't they somehow steal 12 million quid from Sunderland for Long? I presume you mean Southampton? Yes them! It is a sunday morning! cobham, to be fair, 12 players left Hull this summer including Faye! making around £15m in sales. They have signed about 9 though. Hernandez 10m and Snodgrass 8m, I dont think they have particular spent any more that 10m on the rest though. I should imagine they are safe. West Ham however you are correct, I am not sure how they have done it to be honest. Although I do think they made some cash off sales from Diame and Taylor, it cant be anywhere near the expenditure for example 12m on Valencia.

The likes of Song and Valencia in particular.

Sod being better than Sidwell, he's better than Whelan and every other central midfielder we have too. He'd be a cracking signing.

Not sure on any Man Utd squad player to be fair. The last few seasons have taught us that a lot of them are bang average that were turned into trophy winners by Ferguson, and that they drop to their natural level without him.
It's hard to judge what that level is.

God know it would be another sign if trying to do things on the cheap and getting poor value in terms of games when will we learn arnie , Ireland , sidwell , bojan cheap but none of them good enough to get in a starting line up that can't do any better than 2 points from villa hull leicester and qpr .
We really need to up the anti in terns of regular starters I'm already watching Leicester for a defeat as it's harder for them to get to 40 very very worried by our relegation form start

Even if we don't pursue a loan of any sort in January, trying to secure Moses on a permanent basis would be a great move. Time to stump up the cash to get him

I'd like Fletcher. Very good player! I'd also have had Krancjar, and that Nick Powell if possible.

Missing piece of the jigsaw (once huth is back to 100%). Would be an excellent signing.
Bego Cameron Ryan Huth Pieters Moses Fletcher Nzonzi Arnie Diouf Crouch
Subs Wilson, Adam, Bardsley, Ozzie, Butland, Wingie

He can't get anywhere near a utd team that just lost 5 at Leicester . He plays most games on the bench another cheap one with no value great before his illness but surely guidetti shows this is a flawed way .

I think he is done for at Premier League level unfortunately. This season when he has played he has needed half a second too long on the ball and been unable to keep up with the game at key moments - and he's supposed to be in his best shape since his illness took hold.

Fast, skillful, creative, and hard working. I hope we're going all out. It would worry me if we decide to wait until the summer to try and get him here permanently, as Martinez will no doubt want a winger by then (with Atsu only on loan).

I think he would be an excellent addition, either on loan or permanently. He is not a Hollywood player, but he is hard-working, combative and composed on the ball. It would probs be a permanent if he comes to us due to the 2 loan rule (unless of course we get Moses signed up, which wouldn't be the worst bit of business now, wouldn't it?) Still cannot see him coming here, especially if Man Utd continue to struggle like they have been doing, surely either Van Gaal will recall him or Van Gaal will be sacked before long
