Tell you what some of our supposed supporters want a word with themselves with the comments on here after we went one down...embarrassing.
Don't normally catch games on here but have no option as I'm working in Horsham but fuck me...supporters...really?

Thats because Arnie is injured for fucks sake! He had to go off injured! Why is all the Arnie hate coming out? Its pissing me off! Its not hatred its because he offers so much but isn't providing anything. He went off injured but he wasn't injured when he started.

When he was dropped last season, he came back twice the player mate, so I do t really think that argument stacks up. He didn't Paul and you know he didn't. He came back and grew into his role over a period of time. He didn't hit the ground running at all. He's the type of player that needs managing and needs games. If we didn't know that before we put a large part of our transfer spend on him then we we should have done our research into his character.
1. We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one then mate.
2. We didn't blow large money on him (our total spend that window is irrelevant), we got him cheap, if he was consistent, then we wouldn't have been able to afford him in the first pace - we did do our research.
3. Are you seriously advocating dropping one of Moses, Crouch or Diouf to give him a run of games?

Poor game but a good result. Butland and Muni were excellent, Huth had a decent game pleased to see him back. Thought Arnie, Assaidi and Ireland were really poor. Nzonzi had a good game except for the histrionics.

Where have I advocated dropping anyone? I agree with you but at the same time i'm mindful of the player and his character and what he needs. If we do this for the rest of the season ( 1 game in 3 out) then we'll get nothing out of him. Absolutely nothing. Is that good management to write off a 2.5M investment like that? The last manager was rightly criticised for that. 2.5M was half of our spend last season. It was/is a considerable amount of money when we are actively slashing our spending. How you can say it is irrelevant is staggering. It's certainly very relevant when we are having to spend 1M a pop on loans to replace him.

Arnie it's more concern. If he's injured he shouldn't play, end of. If he isn't injured and is taking part then he should do much much better than he is. Which one is it? He's miles away from the player we saw in April.

First half was decent but second half was poor quality from both teams IMHO but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, more than happy with the result so it doesn't matter. Hoping for a decent draw.

1. You said that he needs a run of games. He hasn't been starting, we can only field eleven players at a time, ergo that if you want him to have a run of games then, wait for it ... we'll have to drop someone.
2. You have absolutely no idea what our transfer budget is, Arnie cost £2.5 million, a figure that amounts to very little in today's game for any player, it's not staggering to suggest that our total spend that window is irrelevant at all, for all you know we could have offered £12 million for Yarmolenko (or whoever) and (for whatever reason) it just didn't happen.
3. Odemwingie injury.
