The last thing we want is for them to sack mad Pardew, and bring somebody new in for our game the week after! Dont want them to win, but a draw (v Hull) would prob extend his tenure for at least a week Then we can batter them 7-0 with our slick continental passing game

A really crap 0-0 would be good. Or 1-1 if they score first.

I too normally want other matches to draw as it means our opponents have "lost" a point between them. But on this occasion I think Newcastle winning could give them a false feeling they have started to turn things around and not be on their metal when they visit the Brit. Whatever the results tomorrow and Tuesday, I'm sure MH and the team know they must not let the fans down against Newcastle.

We always seem to get the new appointments of managers against us for their first game. Tim Sherwood, AVB, Big Sam and Kevin Keegan to name a few.

I think a draw would be the end for Pardew to be honest. Kiss of death for a chairman to state that he fully supports the manager after an awful performance.
