Whats the general consensus on here would we like to see forest back in the big time?

I reckon Forest and Derby might both come up which would be great for midlands football and also our travelling. Villa,Leicester,West Brom,Forest and Derby would be like the old days.

Forest and Derby would be great and reminiscent of Cloughie and the old days, just hope it's at the cost of London clubs.

There were a few on here saying Forest had no chance with Pearce in charge.

Let's see how well they're doing in May shall we?
Pearce's managerial record is pretty dire overall.

I would love to have Forest promoted, but on past form they crash and burn after Christmas. Also their fans think they are one of the country's top clubs, because they won the European championship. Now if Stoke had been champions in 1974, instead of Derby, Clough might not had been signed and then sacked by Leeds Utd. and so would have stayed at his favorite Derby county.

As mentioned in my opening post britt assomblalonga scored another brace tonight, so far he looks the buy of the championship. Already in double figures if forest are going to get promoted, alot could ride on this guy keeping this form going.

Always liked Forest from the Clough Era and winning European Cup twice, take them over Derby any time. Given a choice would love to see Forest, Brum & Leeds promoted.

Whats the general consensus on here would we like to see forest back in the big time? How much did they pay for him? Whatever it was it is making Fulham look stupid paying £12 million for the Leeds player! They are in deep s..t even this early in the season. If we went into free fall as they seem to be, well just isn't worth thinking about!

Watching the English teams in Europe this week I wanted every single one to lose their games. When Forest, Liverpool and others like Ipswich were enjoying European success I really wanted them to win. I would imagine I'm not alone in making this switch over the years. Lots of factors I guess - the arrogance of the big 4 or 6 or whatever it is, the overhype, the overexposure to the drivel spouted by their fans.
I'd quite like Forest to come up, but would probably be sick of them after a few weeks.

They've served some time and probably deserve a crack in the top flight again. I'd rather them than Leeds who I'm happy to see languish for a few decades yet.
