I was angry mate Struggling so much against football giants ludogorets !!! Had to rob them of a point with a dive to get a penalty. Just hope they will be brought crashing down to earth when they get to play a proper team

Never mind "inwxisyent", I like the seamless conflation of "bin dippers" with the Oatcake's own "shit bin" to produce "shit binners".

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I actually thought it was a pen. Keeper should have just knocked it out

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I actually thought it was a pen. Keeper should have just knocked it out The mistake was worthy of the punishment, but the punishment was still incorrect. Also, I cringed when they were banging on about the famous Anfield atmosphere before the match and then it was flat as a pancake for the most part. Pundits are effectively very dishonest salesman nowadays. Even when I watch us at home on the net and people say the crowd was awful, it still sounds pretty decent from behind a PC screen. I can't imagine how shit it must be at Anfield considering they put mics in front of the crowd and it still sounds atrociously quiet.

Back from work now, and much as I hate defending that lot, having just watched it again on youtube, it was a pen. Keeper catches the attackers lower leg and ankle taps him. If the exact same incident had occurred with, say, Diouf and Mignolet I doubt if many on here would be calling it a dive

Dubious in the extreme but just enough of a case where you can't rule it out as a dive. At no point was the ball under control. He just booted it straight out to make sure he got a touch, but falling over was always the main intention. Rodgers absolutely must practice it because Liverpool are VERY good at getting them.

Can't believe no-one has mentioned the first half penalty decision which went Liverpool's way when the defender (Lovren?) just basically pushed the striker over!

The Bulgars penalty claim was far more valid, a proper penalty which the homer ref chose to ignore, then he gave Liverpool a very, very soft one. The Bulgars were robbed, and were by far the more impressive side. Liverpool will be lucky to survive this round.Ohbottom IS WRONG this time.
