Slag Jerome off = Perfectly acceptable. Slag Walters off = Agenda. No ones slagged him off, and he isn't a Stoke payer anymore anyway so there's a difference. So if you slag stoke players off it's an agenda?

Slagging someone off is calling them a twat, prick or whatever, like people do to you on a regular basis ( ), I don't see any of it on either side, the agenda comes when a thread that has nothing to do with a certain player suddenly gets taken over by posters that clearly have an agenda against one of our players. Hope this helps you in your future endeavours.

Did well for Palace last season, despite not being prolific. Works his arse off and scares defenders with his pace. I bet they wish they still had him now they've signed Kevin Doyle!

I actually think he would have scored more under Hughes' system, but the time to let him go had probably come.

No problem with Jerome but, like it or not, he's no more than a footnote in our history.
SJW, like it or not, gets a chapter to himself.
Its a bit like comparing Mark Stein with Kyle Lightbourne.

Far better for us and a real miss given odemwinge injury would much rather have him on our bench than some of those today

Norwich look good for promotion with a solid defense and a strike force of Jerome and Grabban.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, Jerome would be perfect for this system as he could play up top, in behind and, at a push, out wide. He has the pace to terrify defenders, especially from off the bench and he has surprisingly fantastic technique for a big, fast bloke.
Why Sparky never gave him a proper chance, ala KJ and Penns, I will never know, but it was ridiculous to see him frozen out whilst a past-it ethers was ushered straight into the starting XI at the start of the season.

Never understood why people on here have such a downer on Jerome. He was usually the only thing worth watching in Pulis' last season with us.
He's described as a headless chicken, but whenever he came on for us, I saw a player making intelligent runs which just weren't picked up by his team-mates. Didn't always look like he had full control of the ball when he was running with it, but created enough chances for us for that not to matter.
Presumably, Hughes didn't want him any more than Pulis did, and who am I to argue with the pair of them, but he's proving now that given a run in the right team, he's not a bad player. Maybe that's the best we can say for him, but he's certainly not the useless lump I see described on here.

Coming off the bench he was a useful impact sub under Pulis but then was rewarded in the next game with a start and did nothing usually. Under Hughes I was surprised he wasn't given more of a chance at the start of last season what with us looking very toothless. That being said I'm sure losing him wouldn't have even been a topic if we hadn't lost Odemwingie.

Not that that's particularly difficult to do when you've got people comparing Jon Walters to Mark Stein For the benefit of those less able members of the community I wasn't comparing SJW to The Golden One. I was suggesting that the impact Jerome had in comparison to SJW was like comparing Lightbournes impact with that of Steino. A difficult concept for some perhaps so apologies for hurting your brain.
