Graeme Bailey (Goal.com, formerly Sky Sports) reporting that a host of Championship clubs want Andy Wilkinson on loan. Would certainly be a logical move.

Would it make sense until Cameron is fully recovered and fit to play after his hernia op? With Shotton gone, if Bardsley was injured the only cover in the senior squad would be Wilson and, at present, he seemsto be the preferred Hughes' choice at cb.

Wilko could form a fullback partnership with Shotton at Derby.

I like Muniesa - but I've seen nothing to suggest he would be one of those rare left footed players who can play at right back - have you?

Can't the German play full back?

It would seem a bit daft whilst we're still in the cup as well. I suppose if its the player wanting some games then that's different.

Wilson at right back and Huth or Muniesa back in the middle? I think we can afford to let Wilko go out on loan.

Pieters might still be injured, Cameron is recuperating from his op. If we let Wilko go out on loan then we are down to a bare bones of a back four and would struggle to cope with with only one other injury/suspension.

If we're letting him go out on loan what was the point of giving him a new contract ?

I would much rather see Wilko playing for another club at a good standard than rotting in stokes reserves.

Wilko said on Saturday that the club were not letting him go anywhere so i can't see much happening unless they have a sudden change of heart.

Butland to Derby is arguably the more notable news - good news for us.

Could very well have been wilko, Etherington, Pennant and Fuller playing for Millwall.
Will be strange seeing Wilko not in the red and white.

Odds on him to score for em on his debut? Don't say that! Either way it will be heartbreaking if he does score for them as opposed to us.
