It would be a good move for both parties IMO. Mike Ashley seems just happy with security for a while at least.

Too far north imo
Not sure if he would consider the Championship but Fulham may be looking for a manager soon

Personally I think Pulis will end up at West Brom. Having said that I can't for the life of me understand why those board of directors opted to employ Irvine so maybe all ain't too well there.

It would be a long shot IMO Pulis likes to be in control of his own transfer dealings which he won't be under Ashley. If he did it'd be interesting to see what he could do with a bigger club and N'castle would be the biggest club he'll ever likely to be in charge of. Gouranga.

He wouldn't have control of transfers at WBA either, with Peace in charge and their Director of Football. It would be worth seeing for the hilarity of shouting "hoof" at the Baggies fans when we play them.

How could he possibly turn down the northern Geordie giants?

Cardiff not doing too well at the moment and TP is a Cardiff supporter from his boyhood! I think he could end up there if he got the chance!

I'm sure the locals would love that. The Palace locals did. And a lot of our locals did between 2007 and 2011.

He couldn't cope with the expectation at Newcastle. 55000 deluded Geordies would be too much for him to handle.

Personally, I could see Moyes at Newcastle.
He'll never get a top job after the Manure fiasco, but similarly, he's too big a name to wind up at an oupost like Burnley or Watford.
Newcastle could be his 'glass ceiling'.
I can see TP ending up at Sheff Weds or Leeds.

How would it be a good move for Pulis? 1 good season.....followed by a 7 year contract...... sacked the second season....remaining 5 years paid up..... The "perfect fuck up"

Contracts don't get paid up like that. There is always some negotiation.

Mike Ashley is a tosser who Pulis would never work with a million years.
To be honest most chairmen/owners are tossers of the highest order. So glad we have Coates who is completely normal, and most managers would love to work for.

I'm sure the locals would love that. I'm sure they wouldn't. The Geordies want attacking play lead by the likes of Milburn, Gallacher, McDonald, Keegan, Cole, Ginola, Gascoigne, Ferdinand, Beardsley, Shearer, etc., etc. and to beat Sunderland.

He couldn't cope with the expectation at Newcastle. 55000 deluded Geordies would be too much for him to handle. True. Didn't Allardyce get the sack over his style of football, amongst other things? Newcastle weren't doing that badly, if I recall. What slightly amuses me, however, is that TP was treated like the Antichrist by nearly every fan in the country while he was managing us, but now he is regarded as The Messiah to any club in trouble. His stock is higher for his nine months at Crystal Palace than for the ten years of achievement at Stoke.

Gordon Lee (ex Vale) was a successful Newcastle manager getting to final of the League Cup and establishing a very good team, but got the sack for selling MacDonald
