Moses and assaidi on the wings giving us plenty of options to play with as a 3 behind the striker, all can interchange? Can create, can shoot (not to well) and is skillfull enough to play the role.

My head hates the idea but having seen us yesterday I think it's worth a shot.

He was rubbish when we tried him there last season.
Always been better out wide throughout his career.

He's a winger and a far better winger than Walters will ever be.

Worth a go. Awful when he played in thatposition against Villa last season. However im struggling to think of anyone with better vision & creativity.

In principle it could work but I just feel it wouldn't.

Could work, we played him as an out and out forward at Fulham once and that was a disaster but with the right man in front of him it could work.
If we had a front four of:
Moses Arnie Assaidi
Diouf
I think it could work.

He was rubbish when we tried him there last season. Always been better out wide throughout his career. Yes, he looks like he ought to be a great No 10 - but he looked lost when we played him there last season. However, that was early in the season when he and the rest of the team had not found form - so it might be worth trying again.

I was surprised and disappointed Hughes didn't bring Arnie on instead of Walters at halftime. It as obvious by then that we needed someone with that bit of magic, the ability to make a game changing pass or run. If it's going to take a few games before Arnie becomes as good as he was last season, the sooner he gets them games under his belt the better.

At his best worth time on. The pitch but better wide for me , sadly another we have who is not clinical enough with his chances but delivers better crosses than we got yesterday , had high hopes this season after his finish last , but did not start well so guess he needs to impress in training

We know hes got the ability, but like you say when played down the middle against fulham last year he seemed lost.

We need to put Charlie in midfield with Whelan and N'zonzi. Get Bojan to play in front of and off Crouchy. Play the two wingers, whoever they may be. Job solved! Obviously the two wingers would have to drop back when reqd and help the defence! Shouldn't need too much defensive work, we'd be at least two up!
