Should Charlie have come on today if only for the corners? 13 and no threat!!!! Moses did well but every corner went long where Charlie would have put different crosses in.Screaming out today for a decent cross but it never arrived!!

Adam should have come on today because he's the only player we've got that can hit the target from more than 10 yards

How many goals have we scored from Charlie Adam corners? I'm curious. It's like saying "Get Charlie Adam on for free-kicks!"
The corners today weren't all abysmal but some of the movement or lack thereof from our players inside the box certainly was, we're terrible from corners and have been for some time.

Adam's corners are fucking awful.
He should have come on though, that's a no brainer.

A few more types of corners please - Man City took lots of short corners last week, unlike today when we gave everyone plenty of time to get in position.
We even had Bojan on the GK for one!? Very frustrating
I wonder if Adam may have been introduced had Pieters not been injured?

I always thought Whelan was good at taking corners. We simply don't look dangerous from set-pieces or crosses like we used to.

Irrespective of corners, Charlie is one of our most creative players, quickens the pace at which we move the ball around and always offers a goal threat. For me, he should be given more opportunity, the sad thing is that I reckon he'll be off in Jan if he isn't given a chance.

This is all well and good but if Adam does play and doesn't contribute much to the game and we lose will we then have Adam is shit, he should be sold, his corners are wank and he's a walking yellow card?
If not, I'm in.

We were losing at home anyway and there was only about 10 minutes left on the clock. Could have reverted to a 3-5-2 for the last few minutes of the game

I don't remember him taking any corners, just the freekick that was really bad. I thought Moses took all of them, but I could have missed Glenn's because the stream I was watching cut out for a few seconds a couple of times. Oh well, my point is it doesn't seem to matter who takes the corners these days, we don't ever look like we might score from them.

There was quite a few good deliveries in open play (more than usual) but either crouch was nowhere near or too busy having the shirt pulled off his back.

He only needs 5 mins to change games thn Pieters looked off for quite a while in that second half, so i think it was more a case of saving the sub incase rather than suddenly using it 5 mins from the end

We need to take a few short corners just for the sake of changing things up a bit. Our routine is SOO predictable its become easy to mark us.
I actually think we lack a leader in the middle of the pitch calling the shots. We seem to be playing football by the numbers.
Its one thing I will give Pulis credit for. He had the team work on a few different routines in training now and again. Hughes is 100% focused on the ball being in play and obviously doesnt work on set-pieces even though about 40% of all goals come from them

The problem wasn't the long corners, the problem was that n one was waiting long. There were plenty of good corners played in yesterday. In the past, it always paid to have someone ready in case the corner was over hit to nod it back in. At present every one stays tight in the box or outside the box, with no one ever at the far post.Nothing defence hates more than a long corner coming back in, when they've been turned to watch it go over.

I wouldn't let Charlie take the corners because I want him outside the box. If the ball comes out we'll actually have a player there who can put in a decent shot!

There was quite a few good deliveries in open play (more than usual) but either crouch was nowhere near or too busy having the shirt pulled off his back. Agreed there two corners in the first half where I thought that Leicster were very naive and we should have scored from both. Crouch headed wide and then Shawcross should have let Crouch take the ball as he was better positioned. Also remember the ball was changed right after Crouch missed the target at the far post. The ball could have been soft when it came to him and the flight of it changed?
