Leicester fan trying to jump the seats over to the stokies, leaving his little lad terrified and in floods of tears. People like that should be put down. Take your stone island jacket off and grow up

On Saturday I attend the game with my 7 year old son and are friend as had done before against us self in the fa cup.
What started off being fantastic day in the Langton rugby club with lots off Stoke fans turned in to my worst day at football in My life. So alls well we go one nil up my self and my son are on row 29 seat 899 890 last two before the stairs we are pushed across in the meleay with my self holding my son in my arms facing your self being pushed up against the netting my son is a big lad. I was struggling to protect him in my arms so I put him down he turns to you self's and I have my back to are fans protecting him from any one hitting him then to my share shock and anger one off ur fans (35/45) year old man in a home shirt spits across the netting in the direction off my son one hitting my son in the face. We was then all push back to are seats by the stewards were I tried to make sure my son was ok as well as calming him down as he was very up set. The stewards came to us and asked if he was ok I replied no he's been spat in the face by one off them are you going to do any think about this ..He replies No What happens next is something I have to live with for rest of my life I as u can understand I was angry so angry I went and attempted to get at said man leaving my son with my friend who was with us my son was shocked up set and scared as he had never seen me like this before or had I never wanted him to see me like this I was then dragged back the stewards and put me with my son who as said already was now even more scared and shocked (my own fault on this part) We was then asked to go down stairs to watch the game from another point of view why under the stand the police came and spoke to my self and my son and asked us to leave because of my actions I had no alternative but to leave as as we were walking out the same steward who I ask if he was going to do any think told me and my son we deserved what we got (gob smacked)
I have today been in contact with Stoke City football club chief stadium office who has cctv footage off this and is a waiting reports from the police and math day stewards before acting on this matter . my main reason for posting this is the original post by Notts matt is correct I was silly but in my head and angry dad I did what I thought was correct at the time as some one had spat in my son's face there been some response to his post as well justified if I was a drunk lot but I hope the people and matt will read this and understand my reactions on the day
Thanks for your time Michael p.s sorry if spelling or long sentences I'm . on my phone very hard to post a thread via this way

Fair play for coming on and explaining your actions and reasoning for doing what you did. Tbh mate your lucky that you were stopped from getting across the divide as your son may well have been more upset had you been swallowed up by the people who you were trying to get at. I'm sure every club has stewards who would be just as unwilling to do anything to home fans to upset the apple cart so to speak, so it's not just a Stoke problem

Not surprised to hear about the steward, they are all dick heads Like I say I have to live with my actions in front off my son but u are correct I should off done that We all make mistakes. Spitting at a child is absolutely disgusting behaviour and the first thought of any father myself included would be to go at the person who did it. Suppose we have to put that to one side though and put our children first

Wonder if anyone knows who this moron was that spat, if the original poster has contacted the club surely they can identify the individual?

I didn't provoke any off them or did my son we were on the end off the row any were else in are end this doesn't happen. I can honestly say off course they was banter things said between people round us and people over the netting but I wouldn't involve my self in . that I'm front off my child even tho I reacted the way I did

I'm still intrested in the length of this alleged gob. Are we in Toxteth O'Grady territory? When we was pushed in to the netting this . As u can amaged does move towards us fans and visa versa from both side a fully grown man can spit fairly far when intending to. I'm not looking for trouble or arguments with genuine fans just putting my point across for my actions

If that was the case then you and others have nothing to worry about, and the club should deal with the fan in question.
