Not only is this Arnies chance to get off and running but it's also an opportunity for Bojan you would imagine. Particularly given Diouf's almost inevitable absence from the side.

Leicester seem to like playing open by the games so far, could be perfect for him

I have a feeling based on nothing that he will have a stormer on Saturday.

I hope so but he's not a genius with a football. He thinks he is and that is probably why he is not. Nobody is. They are either very good at what they do or full of themselves. Arnie at the moment is the latter and he needs to ditch the ego. Do what you can do and the people will decide for you. I like the bloke.I think he's a nutcase but a good one. Let the football do the talking as the saying goes. He's got the ability no doubt.

He needs to get his fat arse into gear. He hasn't kicked on from last season at all.

I wonder if Hughes watched him against Sweden. I thought he had a terrific game.

I think it'll be Bojan and Crouch as the forward and support, with Arnie and Moses on the wings.

I wonder if Hughes watched him against Sweden. I thought he had a terrific game. I think it was a very mediocre showing. The main-problem was that Fuchs rarely supported him going forward and Arnie seems to lack the confidence to just do something special (even Marcel Koller, Austrias head-coach, said Marco should take more responsibility). At least at the moment. I think he'd get into it again, eventually.

Hopefully the 'rest' at Citeh and Moses' very decent performance will have re-focussed his mind.
He needs to cut out the bullshit and do what we all know he can do...

Delilah - "Chris Greenacre"? Surely after Ozzy Oscroft, Harry Burrows et al.

Hes certainly due a performance and I think we might just get one. Arnie is a confidence player in the extreme, so one decent trick or half-turn could get him up and running, never mind a goal or an assist.

I prefer this thread to the one that wrote off Diouf before he'd tied his boot laces. I hope you're more accurate with your prophecies here.

Isnt it amazing how meaning can change from the written word as it goes into someones mind via a line of communication
Re Diouf
How does saying: 'Diouf is unproven at this level' - 'is not threatening the goal enough' and, he 'badly needs to score'
actually writing someone off ?
a bit like the old story from world war one where, the trench in the front line sends a message to the rear thus:-
'send reinforcements we are going to advance'
becomes translated into:-
'send three and fourpence, we're going to a dance'
?

yep true - but again - how is that writing someone off ?
I think youll find if you trawl through that thread I consistently added - 'I hope he proves me wrong'
'but I have my doubts' thats as far as it went
my concern that was - big difference between that and 'writing someone off'
PS - I still hope he does - prove me wrong
Meanwhile I would compare to - 'I think we have all - written Brek Shea off'
now can you understand the difference perhaps ?
there's perception and then - understanding

I suspect Diouf won't start and it will be Arnie, Moses, SJW and Crouchy.
Diouf to come after 50mins for SJW.

ah well its about opinons - we have to beg to differ then - I happen to think strikers should 'land running'
if Diouf gets one every other game Im sure we will all be delighted
meanwhile this thread is actually about Arnie
