They are still in a financial mess. Maybe a good solution if we don't have to pay his wages any more! If he shows he is worth a lot of money by playing really well he should be easy to sell to someone else anyway (doubt it though)!

You can imagine how hard ball those negotiations over the recall clause went. Clarke - 'if we sign him, you can't have him back 'til Christmas' Hughes - 'you bet your sweet geordie ass we fucking can't, merry christmas.'

Ok so he didnt measure up but why be so twatty towards him. We have had many worse players down the years. Have we? I've seen every appearance he's made for us and he has yet to demonstrate that he has even an ounce of ability. Every times he's featured he's looked lost and if he's won the right to play off the back of a Frosties packet. He's a shocking player and right up there with some of the worst we've had. I'd put him on a par with David Rowson and perhaps not quite as talentless as David Xuasa and O'Neil Donaldson.

Good luck to him..........he might not have made the grade at stoke but that isn't necessarily his fault. Hopefully he does a Kightly and proves his worth to them.

We need him to do well at Brum. Even if The blues have no money to buy, other clubs may see some worth in him. He's got a few years left at ours and we don't need the baggage. Can't understand why he was given the number 11 shirt at the start of the season though. Bit of a strange one that. Maybe the number 11 bus runs up small heath

He'll get plenty of action in Birmingham, especially with those guns.

I wish him well and hope he turns a corner in his career and things work out well for him. I wish him well and hope things work out for him So they sign him permanently and we can finally get rid of someone we wish we'd never signed and, whose contributed nothing, before the end of their contract

Classic comment in that article from a Yank: "I have always liked Birmingham FC because Birmingham is the hometown of my favourite band ever, Electric Light Orchestra, and freaking genius leader Jeff Lynne is a big fan of the Blues (I mean, the team, not the musical genre). Probably Shea doesn't even know about this, but what the hell, go ELO!" "i have always loved Birmingham as it is home to the world class eley shotguns, ooops sorry thats aston"

Well fuck me sideways. is this a Stoke player I'm reading all this shit on here about? Was he best friends with Jimmy Saville or shat on an effigy of Waddo, he must have done something dreadful to so reviled by everyone on here, so please tell me what it is? Good luck to the fella he came here under the previous regime and it hasn't worked out for him, he's been politely told he's not in the current managers plans and he's found another team at a lower level that's willing to give him a chance to prove himself. hardly crime of the century is it, but then again some of the fucktards who come on here and slag him off have seen him play thousands of times so they're entitled to tell us all their opinions of him. Gouranga.

A good move I wouldn't be too upset for him, I'm sure the million odd quid he's had out of the club for a handful of abject performances compensates any disappointment he may have.

I wish him well and hope he turns a corner in his career and things work out well for him. What? Far too nice. You need to do it the oatcake way, and wish death upon his family because he didn't win us the league. Sorry you feel that way. Just imagine this scenario: Shea recovers his form and plays brilliantly for Birmingham. He returns to Stoke in December to be bedded into the first team squad in time to cover for all the Stoke players who are either injured (Odemwingie), or unable to play every week due to suspect joints (no names) or away in the Africa cup. He plays brilliantly for Stoke until the usual first team choices return from injury and Africa and is then sold on Jan 31st to the highest bidder for £8million. (Just a thought!)

Good move for everybody involved. And I'm sure Mark and his team wish him all the best. Hopefully he can make it, that would be the best case scenario for all involved. Good luck, Brek!

He's been at two clubs in England and I'd say he's generally hated by the fans of both, I don't get it myself but he is.

Both of Birminghams wide men look the same from a distance, talk blondes. Bit like Brigitte Nielsen. One of those games where i want both to lose and that Leeds song 'Marching on Together' is sooooo 'Roll Out The Barrel' Pft, wankers
