Diouf doesn't look capable of holding the ball up though, which to me, makes Crouch a certain starter. I just think it will be the same team with Arnie coming in for SJW. Yeah I can see that being the team, but I'm just saying that we need to pick a team to go at these. I think Diouf is capable of holding the ball up. It's unfair to judge him on the games so far, I mean, if he can pick the ball up 70 yards from goal at the Etihad, holding off defenders in the process, then surely he's capable of holding the ball up. Anyhow, against these, he doesn't really need to be holding he ball up. He needs to play ok the shoulder and give the likes of Bojan etc something to pass too.

Just been reading this myself, some very interesting comments. A lot of them are clearly underestimating us, which is fine by me. They think they have a very strong squad and to be fair to them, it's obviously their strongest squad for a long time, but in reality, it is a very average squad and one that is below par for a Premier League squad. Looking at their them, there is not a single player that I would take here at Stoke. That's not an arrogant statement, it's just the truth based on our two squads. Another thing that struck me was their belief that they should play Vardy and not Ulloa because they can 'play it on the floor and pass it around Stokes defence'. Yeah because Stoke aren't used to little nippy players at all, i mean, it's not like we've been playing against your Suarez's, Silva's, Aguero's etc etc for the last five or six years. So yeah, Jamie fucking Vardy will have the run of the Britannia this Saturday. Ignorance is bliss as they say and it clearly is in Leicester. Personally, I think they've got enough to stay up, but once the early enthusiasm falls away, it'll be interesting to see how they go on. My team this week would be... Begovic Bardsley Shawcross Huth Pieters Whelan Nzonzi Arnautovic Bojan Moses Diouf With a bench of... Butland Muniesa Cameron Adam Assaidi Crouch Walters 10/10 for hypocrisy.

As long as we get the 3 points I'm always pleased, but sometimes like after the Citeh game I was in a state of bliss!

They say we play hoofball, that we kick teams off the pitch and that playing small nippy forwards will somehow baffle our defence. It is ignorance, is it not? I can't see where I was ignorant of them in my post? I assume it's because I say I wouldn't have any Leicester players at Stoke? That doesn't mean it's hypocrisy. I watched enough of them last season to know they have some useful players and unlike others on this thread I know who their players are. In my opinion, the players we have at Stoke at the moment are better players, that's all.

We really should take them apart. It's never a certainty in reality but yes, we should have more than enough to see them off if we put in even a half decent performance. I keep looking at our probable bench and believe that all seven of them would start if they played for Leicester.

These are officially some of the stupidest fans in the Premiership. I'd put them on a par with Newcastle, West Ham or even Sunderland.

I agree with crouchbot. They think that just because they have had a good start they are amazing. In our first season in the same fixtures we did the following:
2-3 Everton 1-2 Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal
So pretty similar. They assume that pace from their Championship standard players are going to fool PL veterens. They are quite up themselves and deluded but not quite in Sunderland's league. I think we will win 2 nil in a comfortable victory.

Football fans will be football fans.
Some of them think after 3 hard games with decent performances & results, that it now gets easier.
Some of us thought after the end performances of last season, that against Villa it would be an easy 3 points.
One thing about watching football has told me, never expect anything, no matter what league you are in or which opposition you are playing, what will be will be.

We won't make the same mistake we did against Villa and underestimate Leicester, with that in mind, we'll see this game out 1 or 2-0 I think.

They do think a lot of themselves don't they, it'll be a tough game but they seem to be thinking we aren't a match for em, or at least some of them do, think (hope) they'll get a shock come the end of the game.

What a bunch of ill informed half wits. Were we this up ourselves on promotion? There's obviously blinkers which all fans wear, but these lot take it to a new level.....let's hope for a comfortable win. As far as I recall we were all blissfully content with it being our "season in the sun" prior to imminent, inevitable relegation... So we thought we may as well make the most of it and ended up becoming that legendary 12th man who ensured our survival. There's no way we were so fucking cocky as some of them; every single game was a battle in our eyes and every point was damn well deserved! Edit- Although to be fair, in the main, that seems like a fairly reasonable and balanced messageboard. Certainly better than most!

Leicester will do well to develop some gravitas. Cardiff beat Man City early doors last season, and where did they end up?
Watching their performance against Arsenal the other weekend, they made TP's Stoke look gung-ho. I think they're in for a struggle.

"If they sit deep as usual" Yeah, I'm sure we'll employ the same tactics at home to Leicester as we did away to Citeh. Fuck me, have they been drinking Sunderland's water supply, cheeky twats.
