Great weekend in London, everyone out in their team colours. Really enjoyed it, thankfully the Dolphins came out on top 38-14. Will post some pics probably tomorrow, if anyone is interested. Where are the pics??

My colleague is an old school scholarship boy & loves all things sport. I once questioned him when telling me he likes watching this yank football & he said, "It's like chess with violence!'

I'd go for Saints -3 instead. No offense? Newton will rush for a couple of TD's himself! Benjamin and Brandin Cooks are having outstanding rookie seasons. Ingram will be get another heavy workload after a career high game. Brees could have one of his monster games and throw in Jimmy Graham, Greg Olsen, DeAngelo Williams........ Not sure about over 49 but there'll be plenty points on the board that's for sure.

I went with Packers - Colts preseason. Packers are heating up nicely, but I don't think Colts will get there. Bronco's running game this last few weeks has made them ver dangerous again.

The Bengals took a kicking at home to the Steelers last night so thats a dent in the chances. Le'Veon Bell had a stormer of a game for th Steelers last night clocking up over 300yds combined rushing and receiving...awesome display
If I was to stick my neck out I would say Patriots - Broncos final with the Patriots just to nick it
Its all starting to heat up now !!

I won my fantasy Championship by 0.9 points!!
Peyton's last interception saved me. The other guy had C J Anderson and was about to overtake me with less than 2 mins to go.
LUCKY.

Dead easy. What you need to know. The Basics. 1) Attacking Team (The Offense).... 4 attempts (downs) to move the ball 10 yards forward. If the team gets past the 10 yard mark during any of it's 4 attempts (downs) then the attempts are reset back to 4 attempts to go another 10 yards, etc. If by the end of the fourth down they haven't gone past 10 yards then possession automatically goes to other team from where the 4th attempt stopped. Usually teams will punt (kick) the ball down field on their 4th attempt (if they don't feel they going to get past the 10 yard mark) to push the opposition back down field. The opposition then start their 4 attempts to go 10 yards from where the kick returner was tackled. The 10 yards can be made by running with the ball in hand from where the present down has started (line of scrimmage) or by the Quarterback receiving the ball from the line of scrimmage and then throwing the ball to (usually) a Wide Receiver or Tight End and then they run as far (and as fast) as they can towards the oppositions End Zone (Goalmouth, Try line) before they are tackled. If the ball is carried over, or thrown over (and successfully caught) the '0' yard line then that's a TOUCHDOWN!! The extra point after the touchdown is usually a formality as they are always taken from the centre of the field. If you can't score a touchdown but are close enough to try and kick the ball over the bar and between the posts (shaped like rugby posts) then that's a successful field goal. 2) Defending Team (The Defense) ..... Stop the attacking team going 10 yards and/or try to block a field goal attempt. That's it. 3) Scoring.... Touchdown 6 points. Extra point 1 point. Field goal 3 points. Safety, 2 points but don't worry about this one. 2 point conversion...... er..... 2 points... but don't worry about this one either. 4) Time... 15 mins per quarter. 4 quarters make up a full game, which is fairly obvious. 60 mins per game but with time outs, commercial time outs and 2 minute warnings (clock is automatically stopped) a typical game lasts 3 to 4 hours. 5) Cheerleaders.

Then the opposition start their 4 attempts to go 10 yards. .... Don't want to be an anorak but if by the end of the 4th attempt they haven't gone 10 yards possession passes to the opposition at either the point the play stopped (for a completed play) or started (for an incomplete play), which is why teams usually punt as the 4th play.

Brilliant end to the Seahawks v Packers game. Absolutely crazy stuff there. I was watching with a room full of Seahawks fans...their emotions certainly went through the wringer this afternoon! I think we needed the walkover in the NE game as a bit of a wind down.

Brilliant end to the Seahawks v Packers game. Not so. Went to bed at half time with the Pack 16-0 up. Said to the Bride that they'd lose and sure enough... Should have been truly out of sight at HT.

Great game.
Packers D we're doing a pretty good impression of the Legion of Boom for the first half. Wilson had 3 interceptions and a QB rating of 0.00 at half-time!! Green Bay should have been 30 - 0 up at the half but they weren't and that fake field goal was superb.
19-7 with only a few minutes remaining and only one timeout for the Hawks. How does that end up 28 - 22. Unbelievable stuff.

Absolutely gutted for Bostwick. And fuming at the same time.....I absolutely despise everything about the Seahawks....and I have no idea why. Other than....Richard Sherman, Pete Carroll, Russell Wilson,The Legion of Boom and that stupid triangle end of the stadium. Despise them.

having said that the game is on late here so it s not like its taking another sports spot.
