Ha, stick it in google translate and it's wonderfully bizarre! Its very complimentary but a lot is lost in translation, and ends with 'maybe it will be vile, but i want to live like stoke' - sheer poetry!

I would like to live like Stoke.
Perched, ugly, unwatchable, regardless of anything . Small among the great, knowing that to survive in this lousy world, we must be able to accept their limits .
I would like to live like Stoke.
Knowing how to suffer, how to tell when it's time to roll with the punches. Almost always, that is. then suddenly throw it inside and score. In some way. often to equalize , a few times to win. So that it is better to learn early on that on this earth are those that tie that those who win, and then a safe point is better than three likely .
I would like to live like Stoke.
Because it will be too nice to dream of being the best, but want to make with the satisfaction of being yourself and not having to account to anyone? And then, let's all. It is not that there is a place for all those who want to become the best in this world. contentment must .
I would like to live like Stoke.
Make it, in some way. In melee, tibia, eyes closed, with a rebound, offside, with his hand, after shoving my marker, after arrabattato something . Who have taught us that these days, you have to take what happens, and then a goal by Shawcross in the fray, to rebound, horrendous, you know what it's worth? Yeah, exactly how much of an upside-down Leo Messi with triple twist pike. A, for accuracy.
I would like to live like Stoke.
Without concessions to beauty, without digressions on the subject, without unnecessary frills. sweep it away in the stands without frills, without loss of time, that he who hesitates is lost. And we, we are not to lose their own. Perhaps even win.
Maybe it will be vile, but I want to live like Stoke. Which all are good to dream, but it is better to learn early to deal with the reality before she presents us with the bill.

I've posted my thanks on his "comments" section. Am I reading this wrong, or has he got 253,500 followers? They can't all be his mum.

This comment suggests there's another one somewhere: "You had written another, always on Stoke, much nicer than this. Or maybe this was not the site :/"
And this comment erm... "Words that sweeten my return from vacation in the world of work for me ... the premier should be followed for these teams, my Villa, the stoke, the hull city, sunderland ... the teams that play with your heart in your feet as if to fight both the only believe, the only way to live! Thanks guys"

Hello everyone, I'm Valerio, the author of the post on delinquentidelpallone.it
First of all, i would like to thank you for all the support you're showing. We're very surprised you read that, we didn't imagine that our post would have been read in Stoke! We are a Facebook page, very popular in Italy, that seeks the romantic side of football. We didn't like big players, big teams, big stories. We like little teams such as Stoke, teams that work hard and play even harder to succeed. We wrote another post about Stoke's win over City on Saturday. We absolute love your approach to the game. I hope to translate in good english (not from google translate) our posts about Stoke.
Hope that someday we will see each other at Britannia Stadium!
See you soon Valerio

Excellent article, an example of someone using the medium as it should be done, rather than just brainfarting like the earlier post by the 12 year from his bedroom on Shawcross/Man Utd.
I was tempted to have a go at translating the original into 'proper' English, as I do with some of Chugga's posts, but there is a real beauty in the raw translation, which deserves to be left alone. There is something about writing poetry or lyrics in English as a second language that creates striking originality of phrase. Abba and Bjork both benefited from this. I wonder if 'YOURE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BLOW THE BLOODY DOORS OFF' would sound half as good in Italian

Best match report yet and it's not even written in English "Peter Crouch is abandoned like a dog without a master , sometimes Moses test some acceleration, then raises his head, and did not see even a companion nearby." - Brilliant!

I wonder if 'YOURE ONLY SUPPOSED TO BLOW THE BLOODY DOORS OFF' would sound half as good in Italian "Goaaaaaarrrrrn Stoke!" "Goin up hanley duck" And lots of others would probably sound amazing if translated.

"Your'e SOLO suppone di soffiare il PORTE BLOODY OFF !!" Doesn't have the same gravitas "Your'e SOLO suppone A di soffiare A il PORTE A BLOODY OFF." Much better Great Thread Valerio
