just brought the new home kit xl and whilst it fits there is not much room if i should become even bigger? yet i still have and wear the 2012 home top which is xl and if anything thats too big???? also been to matalan today for some cheapo t shirts and while i can get in the xl they are a little bit tight round the midriff and seeing as i havent had any beer this week thought it was too much of a risk so had to plump for the xll!!! p.s. i have been around 97k now for a couple of years so i aint got any bigger!!! i think its a subtle con by the manufacturers to fool us all that we are obese!

Well I used to be a medium, now an XL is fucking tight, so I say yes they must've become smaller. :-)

I think they are. I have great difficulty in getting shirts to fit too , not so much in the body , but as a result of having a 20" neck . I'm an XL in body size.

I've had to have 2 sizes bigger than normal for this seasons away kit, think (hope! ) their sizing is a bit out.

Its the "slim fit" obsession. Us fatter buggers have to buy big now.

Definitely getting smaller, tight is the new baggy. Actually Stoke shirts are far less tight than more fashionable clubs like Arsenal. In truth we have never really embraced the slim fit thing perhaps because we have too many pie men among our support. Try this Dennis Bergkamp shirt from the 90’s against Wilshire in an Arsenal shirt of today: You could make two 2014 shirts out of the material used in the Bergkamp shirt.

I actually bought Ronnie a new away kit when I was home in July, XL, and myself XXL, accidentally wore Ronnie's and could hardly get in it, thank fuck I threw vanity and false hope out of the window and got myself XXl.
