Of all the greedy fuckers there are around he's the greediest if them all. He only joined no- hopers Monaco for the tax free money when much better clubs were after him. I hope he trips over a dog for something and I'd out for the whole season pretty soon. Just hate the ugly chimp face and the shit who took him. Blind apart I believe they are assembling a veritable collection of vile characters at the shit

Bizarre. Theyre happy to fork out stupid money for Falcao, Di Maria and Herrera, but they haven't even looked at bringing in centre-halves or even a decent holding midfielder, preferring to stick with academy products and Jonny Fucking Evans. What do they think they are going to do? win every game 6-5 or something? Unbeleivable Jeff... Indeed, a very good player but not what they needed. They'd have been better off keeping Hernandez and Wellbeck and splashing the cash on a leader at the back or in defensive midfield. I can't see them playing all of the following at the same time... Falcao, Van Persie, Rooney, Di Maria, Mata, Januzaj Happy to see them waste more of their money though, miss out on the champions league again and it'll cost them. Van Gaal seems arrogant enough to persist with 3 at the back as well, hopefully pug face leaves them wishing for Moyes at the end of the season.

After paying a now bang-average Rooney £300k per week, where else is there for United to go? They're not the attractive proposition they once were, so they've got to pay well over the odds to get players to go there rather than to other clubs playing in the Champions League. Any player good enough to improve them is automatically going to point to Shrek and say that if he's paid £300k, they should be paid more.
The road to ruin I hope.

Hope they miss out again on champions league. Sales from merchandise will plummet and revenue from TV and CL will be lost. Surely all this spending and wages are unsustainable in the long term. It's as if the club is giving it it's all for one big push but if that fails doom and gloom beckons

It's incredible to think that the Welbeck sale is basically the same price (slightly less actually) as the 1 year loan for Falcao.

Greasy cunt will be paying £155,000 of that in tax per week. A little over £8 million in tax per year. How ever will he survive? Reckon United will have paid a lump sum to Monaco to cover his wage for the year, so Falcao can still take advantage of the tax haven that is Monaco I think your right. He's on loan for the first year so officially still a Monaco player and MonĂ©gasque citizen. They'll probably lob the 50 mill and a couple of years salary into his account at the end of 12 months so it's tax free. Sent from my GT-I9192 using proboards

"I want x amount" and they say "Yep sure mate, no problem" then i fail to see how that's being a greedy shit.Falcao could have gone to several clubs so he'll obviously go the one who gives the best deal for him. if a huge club (which financially they are) can afford to pay this and are seemingly happy to do so then i don't see how you can fault a player for accepting it. tell me, if someone rang you and asked you to do the same job as you were currently doing for a ridiculous amount of money, would you turn around and say "Sorry mate, i feel that that is more than is actually necessary for me to live on so i would like you to decrease your offer if possible"? would you bollocks.

It's incredible to think that the Welbeck sale is basically the same price (slightly less actually) as the 1 year loan for Falcao. So to break even, Falcao has to achieve more in one season than Welbeck achieves in his entire career. Damning indictment on what Louis Van Gaal thinks of Roy Hodgson's favourite inside forward.

Damning indictment on what Louis Van Gaal thinks of Roy Hodgson's favourite inside forward. but at the same time, not that big a task for Falcao. he can probably beat Wellbeck's career haul of Prem goals for Man Utd. in 1 season with his eyes closed (if only he had another 10 decent players around him)

I wonder just how much Glazers are up to speed with what has happened since van Gaal arrived. The owners probably supported van Gaal's appointment and he was given a free hand to "fix it". But I wonder whether they are going to wake up one morning and realize the club is running away from them.

Why did he choose Monaco last year ? Were they a bigger club than others which wanted to sign him ? No. Were they competing in the champions league ? No. Could he win any honours with them ? No, except perhaps an insignificant French cup. The only reason he joined Monaco over bigger and more illustrious clubs playing in the champions league was the fact that his pay there was tax free. Now that to my mind is pure greed because at the end of the day I'd rather earn eg 250k a week playing for Real Madrid and winning the CL than eg 300k a week ( both sums being much more than any person should be earning for kicking a ball) competing for FA.
